  • Anyone got the one with Forgetful saying the alphabet?

  • That face that she mkes at the end. I never remembered it exactly. Until now.

  • listen to her, she is so elmo!

  • even warmed up the jeep!

  • Does anyone have "Write it Down"?

  • I know!! Did you ever find it?

  • I have always had the worst short-term memory. My mom used to call me Forgetful Jones as a kid. I still do have bad short-term memory, and my mom tells me I am too young too "Old Timer's" disease LOL

  • i love clementine's face @ the end

  • That's the same face Kermit makes! LOL

  • You know, I never saw it before but if you take away the nose, wig and hat, and outfit, I think Clementine is a Kermit the Frog puppet.

  • You're right. Clementine almost would look like Kermit The Frog without the nose, wig, and hat but, the only difference between them is that, Kermit's eyes are more bigger and his eyes are pointing out on top of his head, and Clementines eyes are more smaller and flat on her face. (If you go on the Muppet Wiki page and look at Kermit The Frog's and Clementine's pictures, I'm sure you will probably see the difference). But mostly, you're right, Clementine almost looks like Kermit The Frog.

  • True. Clementine would look like Kermit The Frog if her nose, wig, and hat were removed.

  • Well, almost... but not quite. Anyone have the original version where she faints at the end?

  • Yes you're right. I've seen Kermit making that same face whenever he is angry, disappointed, frustrated or embarassed.

Also, in one skit Kermit was doing a news report of a show of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and the director (a Fat Blue muppet) put chairs, then squares instead of bears where Kermit kept telling him that it's "Goldilocks And The Three Bears" not "chairs" or "squares." At the end of the skit, Kermit made that same disappointed face where the director imitated him.

  • True. I've seen Kermit making that same face whenever he's sad, angry, or disappointed about something.

I know in one Sesame Street news skit, Kermit was reporting a show of "Goldilocks And The Three Bears." Unfortunately, the director (a Fat Blue muppet) kept using other things that rhymed with bears (like chairs and squares). At the end of the skit, Kermit was getting frustrated by all the mistakes where he made this same face that Clementine made here, where the director copied him.

  • Correct. I've seen Kermit making that same face whenever he's sad, angry, or annoyed about something.

  • I want a jeep that has wheels that don't move to..lol i love Sesame Street

  • Since when did Buster get his driver's license?

  • They gave him since he was so "stable"

  • That's cute!

  • That's such a non-sequitor ending; exactly why I love this skit!

  • I remember Forgetful. He was almost too goofy. But good Did Jim Henson do him?

  • Richard Hunt performed Forgetful, not Jim Henson.

  • No, he was voiced by Richard Hunt. May he forever rest in peace.

I'm still waiting for a clip with the original Forgetful Jones, voiced by Michael Earl Davis.

  • Who says horses are terrible people? They give you a lift!

  • What I don't understand is why Clementine acts the way she does when Forgetful says 'Buster'. I mean before we see Buster driving a jeep. Didn't she know that was the name of Forgetful's horse? And she was clearly trying to tell him that a horse was what he needed. Yet she puts on a 'what the heck' sort of expression when he figures it out. What's up with that?

  • I have a glass on my desk. there is a bathroom up the hall. i get up and go to the bathroom to get a glass of water. i stop halfway and say, out loud to myself as i return to my desk, these exact words. "You can't carry the water to the glass. You need the glass first to have a glass of water."

I forgot about Forgetful Jones. Obviously.

  • Sesame street is just not cool anymore since a lot of the good characters I grew up with are not there anymore, especially Forgetful. Thanks a lot, ELmo for runing Sesame Street!

  • I think that is Kevin Clash (Elmo). The puppet technique looks very similar and the voice could easily be him.

  • Heh, it just occured to me, I wonder what Forgetful's actual name is! Hmm...

  • You should always ride with your horse, of course...

    ~Ra'akone

  • Clementine sounds a little bit like the early Kevin Clash Elmo am i'm right? 5 stars.

  • So that's Kevin? She sounded different than in "Home Run on the Range." I guess it was Brian as Clementine in that one. Then there's Camille Bonora's Clementine voice which wasn't really raspy. Gosh. This is confusing. No wonder Forgetful has trouble remembering who she is. Lol.

  • "Say hi to the fences and check the cows"? Good grief, Jones, have you ever thought of going into another line of work?

  • Kermit was going to hire him as a stagehand on "The Muppet Show", but well...he forgot Miss Piggy's costumes, he forgot to write punchlines for Fozzie's jokes, and he forgot to get Gonzo's asbestos suit for his latest stunt (dousing himself in sulfuric acid and shooting himself out of a cannonball into a ring of fire, all to the tune of Mozart's "Requiem"). However he had to find something for Forgetful to do...he's a relative of a friend of Scooter's uncle. Where'd they meet? Well...I fergot!

  • The funny thing is that checking cows, when you think about it, doesn't sound that unusual. But saying "hi" to fences? The very idea.
