I have seen this movie, undoubtedly its a good movie. Mr. Tareq Masud was a legend. May his soul rest in peace. Social reformation is required for Bangladesh. Religion is good till the time its based on the holy books. But now fanaticism is all that left in poor countries like Bangladesh.

This the first movie from Bangladesh nominated for Oscars.The story starts with a boy Anu whose father fears his boy's corruption by the outside world sends his son to study in to a strict IMadrassa.
This film reveals many allegations and documented cases of physical abuse in madrasas, such as corporal punishment, beatings and other such practices ( for example writing Arabic with left hand was a great sin, having TV which considered as a box of a Satan in home etc).
This movie shows islam religion in negative sense.but in islam there is nothing like this movie. The director make islam religion full of superstition .man ! Its not funny.

Whether you accept it or not, this movie captures the essence of how beautifully Islam integrated in rural Bengal and adopted in our culture, I suggest you watch the movie and then make comment.
