  • GOD DAYM I LOVE ME COOKAR

  • Nice 

  • put a damp cloth underneath your cutting board, that way it wont slide around the table ;)

  • Do these taste good with PILLOWY MOUNDS OF MASHED POTATOES?

  • 6 people are hindus and buddhists, i myself am buddhist but idgf

  • u should have put the brown sugar on after the rub. it will act like a seal to hold in the rub.

  • these look amazing!

  • @kj4hi

The rub would taste the same you fucking idiot. Its the meat that would taste different as its a different meat. Spastic

  • can regular pork ribs be used in this recipe?

  • Mr. Hanna,

I was so ready to jump through my screen and help you with the task of eating those delicious lookin' puppies! I cant imagine what the brown sugar, honey and apple juice would taste like but im sure its a match made in heaven on that meat!! I cant wait to leave Afghanistan and put it to the test!!! Great video!

  • Heh, Ive been bbqing all day! I couldnt look at another rib for the rest of my life(lying through my teeth)!!!

  • I will admit I love BBQ ribs and I have seen many different methods of cooking BBQ ribs and I am quite sure that the ribs in this video come out delicious but I must say if I had to go through all that is shown here to cook BBQ ribs I would never cook them. The method shown in this video is just too much fuss for me. There are much easier methods to preparing good BBQ ribs than this one. No offense intended, just my opinion.

  • Put a damp washcloth under your cutting board for stability. Good stuff Thanks.

  • BTW, I have those same knives (Miracle Blades) and I love them!

  • Can I come over for dinner? LOL

  • does this method apply to lamb ribs?

  • When you put the ribs back in the cooker for 90 minutes what temp. do you cook them at? Is it 275 degrees like the first? The video doesnt say.

  • thank you Phil

  • maybe try using beef ribs with the bone in, those can be pretty tasty with a similar set of spices as seen here. making your own sauce is key too. I don't think lamb would work with this flavour setup but if you made a sauce good for lamb ribs or whatever they'd be called I'm positive they'd be amazing

  • I know the lines are a little corny but I still love it. 5 stars and hopefully one day I can afford the equipment to make ribs that way.

  • thanks for the comments.

  • @kj4hi This video is putting me to sleep......zzzzz..zz

  • @051473

You wont find a better taste than a Big Green Egg. And if you keep the lid closed the humidity is PERFECT and meats are tender. You can fit several racks of ribs on the Egg. Plus there is another rack you can use for another layer. I do it all the time. Nothing wrong with a Traeger, but the Egg is awesome. I am a fan of charcoal taste, rather than just wood.

  • wow those look amazing. next time i buy ribs im definitely doing it this way!! great video 5 stars!

  • so....let get this right......best to wake up at 6am to start prepping the ribs...then all the cook time...then all the sweetning time...then all the bbq sauce time!!!!! you should be ready to eat by dinner??????????? and then ,,,, lol yu only put one piece on the plate!!!!! after all that wait time,,i could eat both rack of ribs myself..lol

  • So many ways to cook ribs, just find out what works for you.I have tasted ribs from all over and now plan to open my own place Bo's BBQ in Nashville,Tn in 2010 and have 4 styles because they all started to taste the same, great video i like

his technique the green egg has to go..

  • What ribs are those? specifically, please. I hear alot of types of ribs. thats why I ask.

  • "Good job kid, your check's in the mail"...

  • lol ur 1 sick puppy haha

  • 6 hour ribs WOW! I am impressed!!!!

  • hoyl shit i know where my pay checks goin today XD, i might get enough to get a bbq and all teh ingredient's. thx man that looks so awsome il be gettin my rib on tonite XD much <3 no homo

  • Looks like more work than I'm interested in. I'd pay for ribs like this though.

  • Actually, it looks like a lot of work but it is not bad, The different stages are hours apart. So, when you go to the foil stage, it is as simple as taking the ribs off the grill and spreading out some honey and brown sugar and laying the rib in and folding the packet with a little apple juice. They are back on the grill in five minutes. Then they cook for another hour. There is a lot of time in between to visit with guests, read a book or watch a football game. They are worth it.

    Phil

  • Well, I can tell you that I can sure tell a big difference from the way I use to cook them. But as long as you are cooking ribs and they taste the way you like them, that is all that counts.

  • Not only did you cook them good but you made love to those ribs. You showed them love

  • man you've got yourself a nice bbq! These ribs look great, I'm hungry now:D

  • Thanks for the comments. I love to BBQ and this is a long but well worth the process effort.

    Uncle Phil

  • Those Ribs truly look amazing! Ive got a regular charcoal grill and I really want to show my dad that Ive become a good griller. Can i use this method on my grill. or is it too close to the heat?

  • Well Uncle Phil, you've done it again. You just helped make a lot of folks better rib cookers.

    Thanks

  • Mmmmmmmm riiiibs

  • Thanks guys,

  • Wow. That cooker and the smoke must make those taste amazing. I make my ribs in the oven with just bbq sauce lol. I feel bad now :( I wish i had a cooker.

  • It is an amazing cooker and the ribs are the best most folks have ever had! The process is 5 hours, but well worth it. You could probably do them in the oven, but the wood does contribute a bunch to the finished flavor.

    Phil

  • if we dont have a cooker does the oven work well?

  • They should be good, just not as good. There is something about cooking on the Egg that makes them special, but give them a try in the oven. I bet you will enjoy them!

    Phil

  • These ribs seem really delicious, I love cooking in the same way. But I do not Know exactly what is the ingredient that you put in the minute 1:48. Can you please tell me. By the way i want to tell yopu that I love your barbacue its really fantastic, no way to have one of those in Spain, our barbacues are complete dirferent.

  • @HADAMADRINAA He says "the rub," and doesn't specify what rub to use. Here is a great basic one I like: Hogaholics Dry Rub (good for BBQ)

1 tb Lemon peel, 1/2 tb Black pepper, 1 tb Garlic powder 1/2 tb Cayenne pepper

1 tb Onion powder 1/2 tb White pepper 1 tb Chili powder 2 tb Salt 1 tb Paprika

2 tb Sugar Combine all ingredients.

    Rani

  • love the music and the narrarators voice. makes preparing ribs kinda sexy.

  • Why add sugar and honey? doesnt that make the ribs abnormally sweet?

  • They are sweet but trust me, worth it. This recipe is from Dr. Barbecue's book and is a national award winner. When you taste them, you will see why the recipe won! Thanks for your comment and for taking time to watch my video.

    Phil

  • I'll try it next week...Beautifully done.

  • I came.

  • love the sexy music

  • @antonsoukhan

    haha me too.
