I remember when this album came out. I used to listen to an underground metal radio show really late at night (No Youtube back then, because this was in like 1999), they kept playing songs from this cd and talking about how awesome it was. This was my introduction to Sodom. Soon after I picked up this album, "Agent Orange & Better off Dead"

@starvinmarvin72 this is how it is. 'thrash' metal came from the US, 'trash' metal came from Europe. The reason for this is because a lot of Europeans, especially Germans coundn't pronounce the 'h' in 'thrash'. Thus 'trash' metal was born. Musically too, 'trash' is a lot 'dirtier' sounding than 'thrash'. I always thought a lot of 'trash' metal was bordering on death metal anyway.

@YTisMyPlaylist If you care to read WHY some people refer to it as 'trash' it's not because of musical genres, it's because of the pronunciation. So it's not at all 'like saying asian black metal is yellow metal'.

I do agree though that genre classifacation has got out of hand. I could argue though that a lot of it has to do with the lyrics rather than the music.

Also, like it or not, this style of musc HAS progressed a LOT since it's inception. So I'd say SOME new genres ARE valid.
