It is good at what it does close quarters fast reaction it keeps you on your feet real easy to pick up and play. Bf3 is more simulation and team based. I agree. I think that the Battle Rifle was way better than the DMR and I'm not a huge fan of armor abilities. Especially armor lock. I just think that Halo was better without them. Armor abilities just led to a bunch of inconsistency.
Still think it's a mistake pitting them against each other. Two totally different games, you should give both a try, it's nice having more than one game to play.
I'm sure MW3 will have awesome sales, but I know that I won't be getting it. I'm actually looking forward to the MW3 release so that it will pull the COD players away from BF3. I can't get back into COD after Bad Company 2 and BF3, there's just so much more going on and it's a much more expansive game, in my opinion.

@supermortalhuman Sales has nothing to do with quality. Dev skill and work placed into making the game is quality. DICE devs are far more talented than IW or Treyarch devs. They also put 6 years into making this game what it is, which is a masterpiece. Give them a few weeks to work out the SMALL problems currently in the game and it'll be perfect. Sales has to do with how many people know of the game. Battlefield is much smaller because they haven't gotten 1-2 releases/year

That's why you can move the mouse and instead of watching it move (unless you move it slowly), you watch it instead POP from looking where you were, to where you stopped moving. It's very very bad and the only thing that it stands on is the unique mechanics - if you put cod map in BF3 tdm it wld fucking suck.

As I was saying... For another thing, the CoD maps would suck in Battlefield because they suck in general. They're worse than maps I've made on Sauerbraten or even Battlefield: Vietnam with the map editor when I was 12 years old. Battlefield maps are much more open, and larger. I really don't understand the commotion on whats going to be best. They are two different games.More people will play cod because of the arcade like feel. It is good at what it does close quarters fast reaction it keeps you on your feet real easy to pick up and play. Bf3 is more simulation and team based. It has a variety of classes that dont require gunplay in a multiplayer environment to win. I like both games I will go through the addiction on both at different times. They are great games.

I agree. I think that the Battle Rifle was way better than the DMR and I'm not a huge fan of armor abilities. Especially armor lock. I just think that Halo was better without them. Armor abilities just led to a bunch of inconsistency.

@supermortalhuman Sales has nothing to do with quality. Dev skill and work placed into making the game is quality. DICE devs are far more talented than IW or Treyarch devs. They also put 6 years into making this game what it is, which is a masterpiece. Give them a few weeks to work out the SMALL problems currently in the game and it'll be perfect. Sales has to do with how many people know of the game. Battlefield is much smaller because they haven't gotten 1-2 releases/year

@kkengfaa I am tired. Anyway: 1: the controls are shit. The look input lags. It "twitches" and not like a twitch shooter. The game checks input, but doesn't update output until it wants to. That's why you can move the mouse and instead of watching it move (unless you move it slowly), you watch it instead POP from looking where you were, to where you stopped moving. It's very very bad and the only thing that it stands on is the unique mechanics - if you put cod map in BF3 tdm it wld fucking suck.

As I was saying... For another thing, the CoD maps would suck in Battlefield because they suck in general. They're worse than maps I've made on Sauerbraten or even Battlefield: Vietnam with the map editor when I was 12 years old. Battlefield maps are much more open, and larger. Giving you more freedom and room for strategy if that's how you want to play. Another thing... Why the hell are you referring to TDM on battlefield at all? Only idiots play BF TDM for the most part.

And if you have host in CoD, you are almost gauranteed to do well. One time, I decided to use the akimbo scorpions for shits and giggles, and I happened to pull host(which rarely happens for me)... "beta was an old build!" ummm they kept it off steam to avoid that process. console may be old, but the PC build was NOT old. During the times Bad company 1 and 2 were released Battlefield 3 was under development. They spent the time creating Frostbite 2. After bad company 2 they started work on the game itself rather than the engine. A year and a half later BF3 is released. Oh, because you are too much of a moron to figure it out. EA =/= DICE. EA is the publisher. DICE designed it.

Not that that's relevant just thought I'd point it out. What I really wanted to say here is, MW1 had tons of problems upon release. Along with that, weapons were incredibly imbalanced. @unrealriot. I would buy BF2 on Steam, buuuut my computer is crap and probably won't be able to play it. Hell, my computer struggles with Minecraft.

BF3 is the greatest FPS ever since 2006 ... Haters are just haters .. BF3 is so fricking fun man! Sales don't mean shit if you are smart enough to look at Black ops (That game is cool) but it could have been better ... BF3 and MW3 will provide enjoyment!! You guys fight over it because your friends do it or at least you want to be a competitive junkie! Just play the game .. COD is good but not my cup of tea? Got a problem with that? Reply to me and intrigue me.

I read a post on facebook saying I am not going to pass college because of this game I laughed at it but I am sitting here at school watching video's of it when I have a ton of homework to do I was suppose to read a book over then last four days but I was playing Battlefield 3 I am starting to worry if I will go through my MW2 mode again almost didn't finish high school. =)

sales are irrelevant to how good a game is. mw2.5 will sell more because it says call of duty on the box and most average people who play video games are not into gaming at the level of all of us who watch content of youtube. they know they like call of duty and will continue to buy it, but it does not mean that it is a better game than battlefield 3. they are 2 different games with 2 different values. call of duty being lone wolf kill/death and battlefield being teambased win/loss.

hmm. doesnt matter either way. Mw3 will outsell BF3 easily, but BF3 is still going to be the better game, because i am sure MW3 will still have gamebreaking stuff, glitches and bugs, gun balance issues, annoying kids,etc,etc. BF3 is still gonna be the better FPS game.

@Kolgox nope. i aint a Battlefield fanboy, but i definitely appreciate a very well made game and BF3 most certainly is one of them, and DICE is a very good and dependable developer. MW3 is just gonna be another average game in an overall average series in terms of multiplayer. i hope MW3 sells a lot more than BF3, but i know that BF3 will still be the better game with a better community.

@manofgames112233 BF3 does, but most of it has already been patched, and the few remaining ones will be patched quickly i think because DICE has a track record for doing that pretty quickly. in MW3 i am expecting a shitload of bugs and glitches that would take ages for IW to take care of because of my experience with its previous game, namely MW2.
