'Hell Raiser' was bought for me for my 7th birthday. I still remember it to this day. That famous orange RCA label on the vynal, with the 'b' side song called 'Burning'. I played it 3 times even before I went to school! Such great memories of such a fine band. Brian Connolly, what a showman. Amid all the frenzy of the Bay City Rollers and The Osmonds, while Gary Glitter and Slade were trying to steal the glam rock headlines, The Sweet stood out as most people's favourite band at the time.

I knew Mick, he may have been lost, but it wasn't cos he missed the glory days..If it was only a month before he died, as you say, then it was because he knew he didn't have long to live..he had been suffering from cancer for quite some time
