wow, i used to have this cd, and i listened to it all the time, especially this song, it was one of my favorites, along with his other song, one voice, damn, my mom and i would watch the video whenever it would play on tv back in the day....it was just such a beautiful song, and i listen to some really beautiful music, so i know what im talking about when i say that billy gilman is a genius

mattie is a little kid who had muscular distrophasy or however u spell it, but he died at age 13 :( and i must say billyfan07, i LUV ur lyrics u make cuz it is simple and it doesnt come in a sertain way and cuz it doesnt change the background every time so its easy to concentrate on the words and not the background!! :D

mattie is the little boy who wrote this piece. Billy G turned it into a song, but mattie wrote this before he died at age thirteen. He, was the last child of his mother, who died from, as well as all his bros and sisters a terminal disease. He was a genius tbh
