man i was looking at this vid cuz i want to buy this gun and this guy has to bring up the walmart shooting thing ..... i work at walmart so yea imma get one forsure
@pete6887 It isn't very comfortable to shoot but this little pistol is a dream for concealed carry. This is my go-to gun whenever I am wearing stuff that makes concealed carry difficult.
Good video, I recently bought an LCP with a crimson trace laser, and it is absolutely perfect for concealed carry, I bought mine for the same reason you did, I was carrying a S&W sigma which stayed home more than I carried
@Thesupersmith79 Yep. In fact, this was my gun of choice this last weekend. I wanted something light for when I was cruising around to family parties and stuff.
@owensted1 Come on, man. Give me a break. That was one of my first videos. Look how long ago that was. You can always click something else, you know. My newer videos are better though. Check those out.
Matt, I get my LCP next week and have a Desantis Nemesis holster on order. Which one do you have to fit the gun with the laser? Do you happen to know if the Nemesis works with that setup or do I need another holster if I order a Crimson Trace, which I believe I will do.
@skykink DeSantis makes to versions of the holster, one for the CT laser and one for those without the laser. Make sure you get the right one if you plan to use the laser. The LCP won't fit in the regular holster if it has the laser.
@jetsettrs Accurate enough. I say that because if you keep it in your pocket long enough with side-pressure it will tweek the sight just a little. It might be an inch left or right of center at 15 feet or so. Nothing that would make you miss a shot to the chest for sure. If they made a mount thick and sturdy enough to resist a little bending I don't think it would be practically and slim anymore.
@merv240 No kidding. It can be quite the freak-fest sometimes. And by "sometimes" I mean most of the time. And by "most of the time" I mean all the time. Ha ha.
@Kill4MyDaughter Great price. I paid $400 at Cabela's but it came as a package with an extra magazine, a spare pouch and a De Santis Pocket holster. It was a huge waste of money because the spare pouch wasn't the right size and the LCP ALREADY CAME WITH ONE! The De Santis Holster was useless because I had already bought the laser for it and that required a different holster. At the time the LCP was very hard to get so I bought it anyway. Buy it man. Good price.
@BrandonSaldana Yeah, usually you have to wait for a doorbuster sale or something. Then they have some good deals. You just have to wait until they have a deal on what you want. I think Cabela's is overpriced on just about everything they carry. The only time you get a deal is when they have a sale or when you are buying in bulk.
GREAT video. I just got one a few days ago and i'm absolutely in love with it. Peashooter!! LOL. I've gotten a few comments about how small it is.. But what they dont know is that its also a 9mm.. THE PERFECT CONCEALED CARRY WEAPON.
I have the Ruger lcp and am looking for a holster for it. Can the holster you show in this video work for a gun without the CT laser attached? (I plan to get one but have to wait on the funds). I should mention that I will carry this in my conceal carry purse , it has a pocket for a hand gun but I need to put it in something. Thanks
@Garrisonpea Yeah. They make two versions. One for the LCP with the laser and one for those without it. Glad you are putting it in a holster. I cringe when I hear about people stuffing guns in their waistband or in a pocket or purse without a holster. A holster is a necessary piece of safety equipment if you ask me. It keeps you from reaching in your pocket or purse and accidentally gripping and pulling the trigger.
Great video, I just bought an LCP today and I'm interested in the CT laser. So the question I have for you is does the laser easily lose it's zero after shooting a couple boxes of rounds at the range? Thanks.
@ckeene2 Sorry it took a while to answer. I haven't notice any problems at the range but the problem I have with losing zero is just from carrying in a pocket holster. I have noticed if it spends a long day in your pocket the whole laser unit tends to shift slightly left or right. It doesn't concern me too much because I don't intend to defend myself against an attacker from more than a short distance and the laser is only off an inch or two at 7 yards. I will still hit my target.
i just purchased one of these lcp's today, it is a great gun and very practical to carry. i use to carry a 40 cal glock which is alot heavier and bulkier
hey there. I am from south carolina and am a college student interested in carrying for protection. i really like the laser sight, are laser sights legal in my state?
matt: very good 1st review for new comers to pocket carry's, etc, thanks for explaining the nuts and bolts of the lcp with CT, some old salts just don't get it and should just go to another vid, etc, thanks!
@agenthelios1 Ha ha. I like still like calling my "little" guns pea-shooters. But yeah, this little "pea shooter" will go through anyone's skull so......yeah. Thanks bro.
my fuckn god man, this is the second vid of your i have watched and will be the last! fuck you make a 7min video and ramble on about this and that and get off topic more then you talk about what your making the vid about, holly fuck i really dont care you ran here or ran there and had to pee in between. just got to the point and stick with it fuckkkkk. you have done and gave me a headache, should i make a 10min vid bout taking tylonal that never gets around to taking it for you????/
@mostshockingtrutv Since you can't seem to figure it out yourself, let me expain how to solve your problem. When you don't like a video, click on something else. If that is too hard for you, let me know and I will see if I can dumb-down the instructions a bit. But I think you can do it. You are a big boy and I believe in you. Good luck, bud.
@ShadowHawk15902 I try to be courteous to everyone I talk to on here but every once in a while some bone-head get on here and I just can't help myself. If someone disagrees with what I have to say, I am absolutely ok with that and I welcome comments that differ from my own opinions. Thanks for the support though. I am glad you've got my back. Ha ha.
I have heard your motto many times, "The right gun is the one you don't leave at home." Probalby the most accurate motto when it comes to CC & is the motto to LIVE by. Nothing will likely happen, unless you don't have a defense. I have the LCP with CT & love it. It is large enough to stop a threat & small enough to carry comfortably. Getting comfortable handling & hitting a desired target is very important but if it is at home, it can not help. Carry, Carry, Carry, Practice, Practice, Practice !
I have A Rugar LCP and was thinking about a laser. I'm a woman and just passed my CC license test. Although I did well in the target shooting section of the test, I am concerned in a real emergency situation I may strike someone unintentionally. My instructor says "every bullit has a lawyer attached to it" so a laser sight my be the right thing for me.
@Garrisonpea That is a funny (and true) saying. The laser sight should really help tighten up your groups. I think it is a great little addition to this gun.
@Garrisonpea - Go for it. It is great and fits the gun fantastic. You will be glad to have added it to your LCP. Search whatever you want but I suggest Ebay. Put in the search for "crimson trace lcp". In the Sort by: filter, select "Price + Shipping: lowest first" . After that select the "New" filter. After that select the "Buy it now" filter. - As I am posting this comment the price is $158.75 or you can go a little more for one with a holster and free batteries for life. - - I hope this helps!
Matt, great video. My local GS has a non-Crimson Trace for $300 in stock, or they can order me an LCP with CT for $440. Is the CT worth $140 more for a gun that is likely going to be used within 15 foot range? Thanks!
Have you noticed any jams with the laser mounted as opposed to w/o the laser? Also, have you noticed the laser shifting at all after heavy recoil? Thanks.
@sjr341 I have had no jams or malfunctions of any kind with this gun. I am taking it out this next week and I will be doing some more shooting with it. I want to compare it to the new .380 I just bought (the Diamondback DB380C). I will let you know if I have any malfunctions. I haven't noticed any shifting at all when I shoot.
@Mattsplat1975 - It is probably the ammo or rack method. Kel-Tec P3AT is a very well performing gun. I have the Ruger but know many have GREAT service from the Kel-Tec. Everything has its own little issues. The Ruger LCP has one as well. When you chamber a round, It is best to pull the slide back like it is a slingshot & then let go so it snaps forward with full force. If you pull back & release it with finesse, IT MAY JAM. - I have never had mine JAM when I follow the method I just suggested.
I hope so but just recently Gov Christie said he's not giving his opinion on CCW and he's not going to consider a bill that he says won't pass in a Democratic-controlled legislature. "I'm not going to bang my head against the wall on issues that there are absolutely no chance will get posted for a vote in the Legislature." Texas is definitely an option. I've heard you can live better out there for less than you can in NJ. Gotta find work first and I just may head west. Thanks for the optimism.
I've had my LCP for over a year now and it's become part of me. So thin and light weight it carries in just about anything you wear, which is the most important thing! It shoots great even the wife isn't scared to shoot it, very important!! I have a Tomcat .32 which is more difficult to carry than this and a 500 magnum but you just can't roam around with one of them in your pocket. Definately vote and KEEP THE SCREWBALL NUT JOBS AWAY FROM GUNS...it ruins it for the responsible ones!
@jt8man Amen, my friend. Seems like every time I watch the news there is some idiot hurting people with a gun. Two things that piss me off about that...1. It is almost always some idiot with a criminal background and 2. There is almost NEVER an armed citizen to intervene. If more of us were out there in a position to stop the lunatics we would all be safer.
I love my Ruger LCP .380 auto, I don't under stand why allot of guys talk shit about the caliber cause I'm pretty sure my .380 hollow point could knock a criminal down with out making a big mess!
man, you're lucky you live in a free state. I live in Screw Jersey with our nonsensical draconian gun laws. at least I got a Florida non-res so I can carry in 31 states (unfortunately not in the state where I would need most). Kudos!!!
Hey, thanks man. I know people in NRA circles in NJ and they say that CCW is on its way (it'll take some time but it's coming). Thanks for the vote of confidence. Be safe.
Hey Matt whats up? i was wondering if you could give me some advice? i just turned 21 last month and have been looking for a good handgun to carry i took my ccw class already using my dad .38 i have been around firearms my whole life between me and my dad we have around 32 guns but only one handgun so i want something small and slim but that packs a punch. ive been looking at the Kahr cw40 have you heard anything about them and what are your views
@h3n3r3yx For packing a punch, obviously the .38 isn't the toughest cartridge around. Your suggestion of the Kahr CW40 is a great choice. Although a little more pricey than a lot of comparable handguns, Kahr makes some of the slimmest guns around. My first experience with a Kahr was my buddy's PM9. My friend let me borrow it and carry it for a day or two and I loved how slim it is. Going with a .40 will give you that "punch" you are looking for. If it is in your budget, I would get it.
@h3n3r3yx I was checking those out the other day at a gun shop. Tell me what you like about it. I am a little undecided about it and I haven't shot it so I am curious.
@h3n3r3yx This requires two replies. The MOST important thing for concealed carry is getting a gun that you are willing to carry EVERY day or having multiple guns so when you aren't in the mood to pack around a full frame you have that little .380 or subcompact that doesn't weigh you down. I consider caliber to be the SECOND most important factor because your .380 in hand is infinitely more effective than your .45 you left home. I hope this helps. Tell me how you like that Kahr if you get it!!
@Mattsplat1975 Yea, I couldn't believe the luck, I was looking for something for my girlfreind and this guy was at the gunstore trying to sell it and a SW 40. he didn't really want to let the .40 go but gave me the smokin deal on the LCP, came with four clips, two holsters, the laser and a lock box, oh yea and 25 rounds of golden saber, the gun doesnt have 50 rounds through it, I see no where, so I was pretty stoked. Easily $600 bucks worth of stuff, just glad I was there at the right time!!
@WildBillGT Yeah, you really did get lucky. Enjoy shooting it. Write me back and tell me what you think when you have shot it! It isn't a comfortable gun to shoot. It is really snappy and it rubs me in all the wrong places. The beauty of this gun is the light weight and small size for concealed carry. Rock on, bro!
I liked your vid. I just had one question I was wondering after the last round goes through the barrel does the slide stay open or do you have to pull the slide back to see if there's no more rounds??????
@marcodz1 Excellent question, my friend! A very important one too. I wish every handgun and rifle made would hold-open on an empty mag. Sadly, this is not one of them. Unless you are counting bullets as they go sailing out the barrel, the only indication you will have that you are empty and should reload or begin running is a click (also known as the loudest sound in the world).
Nice vid, just make some more. Bear in mind when any of us talk about guns there are 100 questionng us. Everytime i put a gun in my hand, i put the mindset in place. The same thing goes when we post. The second will and ought to outlive us however gun owners and carriers must adhere to a far more noble attitude then the ordinary American .
@PrinceMustDie666 Very well said. I try to behave myself so that gun-fearing people who meet me or watch my videos will say to themselves "Hey, I guess not all gun-lovers are crazy people". As you suggested, we all need to rise up to the occasion and some people need to stop the crazy talk that hinders our movement to protect our rights. Thank you very, very much for the comment.
I have to say that out of all my guns Big,Med.,or Small, this IS my favorite firearm.I've had mine for around a month and it has become a part of my daily routine.Like everyone who has one,you forget you even have it on you, that's how practical this firearm is.To me,it's as routine as grabbing my car keys I need to get to work everyday.I don't think about it,I just grab em and stuff them in my pocket. This gun is truly a huge winner ! And for ther cost of owning one,you can't go wrong!
If you go too the double tap ammunition website you can buy 500 95gr Controlled Expansion JHPs for $349.95. They also have 80gr Barnes TAC-XPs for $59.95 per 50 rounds.
@Gray13475 Thanks. At the time of making this video it was impossible to get ammo in .380 auto. Now things are back on the shelves. I appreciate the info. Thanks for posting.
@stormcloud547 Ha ha. Yeah, the LCP is it's own kind of cool. It won't win any awards for massive firepower but it wins my award for most comfy concealed carry weapon.
@austinash9704 It is spelled m-a-g-a-z-i-n-e and if I said "clip" it was just a slip of the tongue. Make a video and see how many people criticize each and everything you do and say. Thanks for the correction.
Nice Vid .... lcr is a great gun i need to pic one up ..... i carry a kahr pm45 as my carry gun Its Great !!! anyway Nice Video i really need to pic up a ruger lcp
I carry the exact same combo. You really do forget that you are carrying a weapon. The LCP has proven to be very reliable I carry either Hydra-Shock or Critical Defense ammo. Both feed just fine and pack a serious punch for a .380. For those who say bigger is better, I agree but a .380 in the pocket beats a .45 in the glovebox! Especially if you are not in the car!!
I'm new to the CC scene and got my permit in Feb. Picked up an XD Sub Comp with a Crossbreed IWB holster. Great gun and what ever I point and shoot at gets hit. But after a few weeks of carry I wanted something lighter. I had my eye on the LCP but wasn't sure about the reliability so I surfed You Tube. I bought my Ruger LCP w/ CT laser and Desantis a week later after watching video. I carry it everywhere with Winchester Ranger-T series rounds loaded cocked and ready to pop.

@demmylowther I have seen the advertising and if they are as reliable at expanding as they say they are, it is impressive. The only problem is that I JUST CAN'T FIND ANY. I would love to carry this stuff but I can't find them anywhere. I had them on order at Cabela's for over a year and then I just gave up and canceled the order.
I like your review. You don't come off as a cocky know it all.You explained why your reviewing this even though there are already many, many reviews on this particular gun.I just happen to type in the search field -Ruger LCP/Lazor and your video popped up.I think it is essential to have a lazer on this gun.In the middle of a tense, frantic situation, like you said, you want every chance to hit your target.Hope to God we never run into that situation.I just bought mine 2 day's ago.Hornady Crit.def ?
@demmylowther Hey thanks, man. I really appreciate you saying that. I just did some shooting with the Ruger LCP, Kel-Tec P3AT, and the Sig P238. I will be posting a video to the GunReviewsDotBiz channel soon. Thanks for the comments.
@ironblood45 Yeah, that Bodyguard is pretty new I think, so it might be a little hard to find and get. You got a good price on the LCP though. I don't think you could have found it any cheaper than that. Enjoy it. It is a dream to carry because it is so light. Kicks like a jackrabbit but it is hard to find something easier to conceal carry than the LCP.
I'm seeing people post prices of $279 & $300, is that the total price with the laser? i've been shopping around and i'm seeing the price in the $500 range.
What up with that?
Also, S & W now has the 380 Body Guard, which also runs in the same price range. I need feedback please
@PanamaNano Mine came in a lame Cabela's package that came with an extra (and unnecessary) soft case that wasn't as good as the soft case that already came with the gun. It also came with a spare magazine and a pocket holster. It was a rip off if you ask me but I really wanted the gun I you couldn't find them back then. Without the crap added the gun was $300 back then. The Laser was $160 in addition.
@IMFDB Right now it is in my pocket in my pocket holster and the extra mag is in the cargo pocket of my shorts. I don't always carry an extra mag but it is never a bad idea. Having extra ammo is always a good idea but carrying the gun with you is the most important. With such small mag capacity it would really suck to run out and need it!
@Mattsplat1975 Yeah I don't agree on carrying an extra mag or two unless your getting death threats. You should see "GunWebsites" YouTube page and search for "What do you carry? EDC Gear" they carry a ridiculous amount of weapons from a minimum of 2 pistols, a camera, flashlight, knife and some extra mags.
I recently bought one of these guns and I absolutely love it. It's a breeze to shoot and is very accurate and it conceals very nicely with a pocket holster. You can carry one in your front pocket and it can be drawn and fired very quickly in an emergency self defense situation. The stopping power of a 380 at close range can be devastating especially with a head or neck shot, I hope I never have to defend myself or my home with it but it's nice to have it around just in case.
@doneaster Yeah, I carry mine in a pocket holster. It stays there pretty much the whole summer since my other guns are hard to carry in a t-shirt and shorts.
A small caliber gun is better than no gun at all, and sometimes it's just more comfortable and convenient than a primary carry piece. I'm a huge LCP fan. :-)
@OzClawhammer Yeah, I do. Since this little guy only holds 6 in the magazine I like to top off so I have a total of seven. With such a small caliber and small magazine capacity I want that extra shot.
I've never accidentally hit the magazine release while shooting. The biggest problem when shooting is I don't have a confident grip, which causes me to want to re-grip the gun after every shot.
i hear you man on the brick in the pants. my first purchased gun was a sig 239 carred it day in day out for a year and said screw this. got a pf9 and carry it all the time now. now that summers upon us and my carry method of shoulder holster under a hoody doesnt work to well in 80-90 weather one of these is going to be my next purchase. great video by the way.
@tony195851 The good news is that it is very cheap. I don't know if the price has gone up since last year or not but the going rate was $300 when I bought mine. And it it an EXCELLENT carry option for summer when you can't easily conceal a bigger gun.
@adjohns1 No worries, brother. Thanks! Hope you like the newer ones! Also check out GunReviewsDotBiz. I did some shooting videos and reviews for that channel.
that aint no P shootter bud, load it with the 95 grain JHP's and it will fuck someone up, laser is a must on this gun though, this fuker has no sights to speak of. I still hang n to it, though, not a tac driver, but will get the job done if needed. under a jacket in the winter, GLOCK 30 SF, 11 rounds of 185 JHP's will put down a man of any size.
@JackSureshot No joke, my friend. I just like calling it my pop-gun, pea-shooter, whatever. And yes, it will put holes in a bad person just fine. I love this little gun. I stays with me night and day pretty much all summer.
@adjohns1 Ha ha. Sorry about that. Hey, it was my second video or something like that. Watch the newer ones for better reviews. I will try to get some shooting videos up sometime this summer. Thanks.
i have a question about ammo..for cc,would you use a fmj or hollow point ,i thinking a fmj so it would go through clothing etc anybody have any answers
@paulplaysguitar1 Without question I would say hollow points. Hornady has a great .380 hollow point that has a polymer insert that helps maintain reliable expansion. The problem with hollow points and clothing isn't that they don't penetrate clothing, it is that the hollow tip fills with clothing material and doesn't expand as it should. But even if it fails to expand at all it is still at least equal to a FMJ!! Spend the extra for a good hollow point, especially in small calibers.
went to the range to shoot the 380 ,i was very pleased with it ,very acurate a 7 yards ,15 yards i got a little sloppy but it stayed in the kill zone .im very happy with so much power in a little gun i think. keep it in my font pocket at all times. best 300.00 ive spent in a while and to be so pleased with it.. it didnt rub my hand like it did yours tho. very happy with it .4.5 / 5
@paulplaysguitar1 Don't get me wrong, I love the gun. But 2 or 3 mags and I feel like I am starting to rub certain parts of my finger raw. But it is a tiny gun, that is to be expected with something so amazingly small and light. It is an awesome gun. It is in my pocket right now, in fact. It stays there pretty much all summer.
agree 100%. im afraid to shoot this thing its so wild w the kick, Just picked up the Sig p238, AWESOME, I went for the laser included version for 650, its got stock awesome novak night sights anyways, like a mini 1911, the recoil is unbeliveably light for only being 4 oz more and the same size, i went through 200 rounds with no issues and my fingrs are not torn up, much more acurate than the LCP, the extra money worth, it, SIG just rocks. single action 1911 trigger, is awesme.
@paulplaysguitar1 Cool! Tell me what you think when you shoot it. I don't think it is really comfortable to shoot. It is a little bitty thing that rubs me raw in multiple spots. But that isn't the point of this gun. It is SOO easy to carry. I love it.
for guns like these, laser sights such as this are ESSENTIAL. Really any caliber, ESPECIALLY 380 and under, it's all about shot placement. I think a sight like that is very important because you can really make shots count, specifically with a caliber like this. It's small, but if you put it in the right place it's as deadly as a 45. Look cool, too!
@spazzz64 That is exactly why I forked out the $160 bucks for the sight and didn't feel bad about it. Just like you said, I figured I would need to make each of the 6 (or 7) small caliber rounds count and a laser sight was the way to increase my accuracy. Thanks for the comment.
man i was looking at this vid cuz i want to buy this gun and this guy has to bring up the walmart shooting thing ..... i work at walmart so yea imma get one forsure

Matt, I get my LCP next week and have a Desantis Nemesis holster on order. Which one do you have to fit the gun with the laser? Do you happen to know if the Nemesis works with that setup or do I need another holster if I order a Crimson Trace, which I believe I will do.
skykink 3 months ago
@skykink DeSantis makes to versions of the holster, one for the CT laser and one for those without the laser. Make sure you get the right one if you plan to use the laser. The LCP won't fit in the regular holster if it has the laser.

Kill4MyDaughter 6 months ago

@dualsportlar Awesome! Enjoy it. I love carrying this gun. It is so light and small that you don't even know it is there.
Mattsplat1975 9 months ago
I have the Ruger lcp and am looking for a holster for it. Can the holster you show in this video work for a gun without the CT laser attached? (I plan to get one but have to wait on the funds). I should mention that I will carry this in my conceal carry purse , it has a pocket for a hand gun but I need to put it in something. Thanks
Garrisonpea 10 months ago
@Garrisonpea Yeah. They make two versions. One for the LCP with the laser and one for those without it. Glad you are putting it in a holster. I cringe when I hear about people stuffing guns in their waistband or in a pocket or purse without a holster. A holster is a necessary piece of safety equipment if you ask me. It keeps you from reaching in your pocket or purse and accidentally gripping and pulling the trigger.
Mattsplat1975 10 months ago
Great video, I just bought an LCP today and I'm interested in the CT laser. So the question I have for you is does the laser easily lose it's zero after shooting a couple boxes of rounds at the range? Thanks.
ckeene2 10 months ago
@ckeene2 Sorry it took a while to answer. I haven't notice any problems at the range but the problem I have with losing zero is just from carrying in a pocket holster. I have noticed if it spends a long day in your pocket the whole laser unit tends to shift slightly left or right. It doesn't concern me too much because I don't intend to defend myself against an attacker from more than a short distance and the laser is only off an inch or two at 7 yards. I will still hit my target.
Mattsplat1975 10 months ago
i just purchased one of these lcp's today, it is a great gun and very practical to carry. i use to carry a 40 cal glock which is alot heavier and bulkier

Carry, Carry, Carry, Practice, Practice, Practice !
specialks1953 11 months ago
I have A Rugar LCP and was thinking about a laser. I'm a woman and just passed my CC license test. Although I did well in the target shooting section of the test, I am concerned in a real emergency situation I may strike someone unintentionally. My instructor says "every bullit has a lawyer attached to it" so a laser sight my be the right thing for me.
Garrisonpea 1 year ago
@Garrisonpea That is a funny (and true) saying. The laser sight should really help tighten up your groups. I think it is a great little addition to this gun.
Mattsplat1975 1 year ago

Thanks.
sjr341 1 year ago
@sjr341 I have had no jams or malfunctions of any kind with this gun. I am taking it out this next week and I will be doing some more shooting with it. I want to compare it to the new .380 I just bought (the Diamondback DB380C). I will let you know if I have any malfunctions. I haven't noticed any shifting at all when I shoot.

I am torn between this and the kel tek. I have a ruger sr9 for my security job so im confident with ruger but not sure for 380.
iamthedude24 1 year ago
@iamthedude24 My brother has a Kel-Tec P3AT. It jams like crazy. Could just be his gun but it soured me to it.
Mattsplat1975 1 year ago
@Mattsplat1975 - It is probably the ammo or rack method. Kel-Tec P3AT is a very well performing gun. I have the Ruger but know many have GREAT service from the Kel-Tec. Everything has its own little issues. The Ruger LCP has one as well. When you chamber a round, It is best to pull the slide back like it is a slingshot & then let go so it snaps forward with full force. If you pull back & release it with finesse, IT MAY JAM. - I have never had mine JAM when I follow the method I just suggested.
specialks1953 11 months ago
I hope so but just recently Gov Christie said he's not giving his opinion on CCW and he's not going to consider a bill that he says won't pass in a Democratic-controlled legislature. "I'm not going to bang my head against the wall on issues that there are absolutely no chance will get posted for a vote in the Legislature." Texas is definitely an option. I've heard you can live better out there for less than you can in NJ. Gotta find work first and I just may head west. Thanks for the optimism.
Nastafar 1 year ago
I've had my LCP for over a year now and it's become part of me. So thin and light weight it carries in just about anything you wear, which is the most important thing! It shoots great even the wife isn't scared to shoot it, very important!! I have a Tomcat .32 which is more difficult to carry than this and a 500 magnum but you just can't roam around with one of them in your pocket. Definately vote and KEEP THE SCREWBALL NUT JOBS AWAY FROM GUNS...it ruins it for the responsible ones!
jt8man 1 year ago
@jt8man Amen, my friend. Seems like every time I watch the news there is some idiot hurting people with a gun. Two things that piss me off about that...1. Hey Matt whats up? i was wondering if you could give me some advice? i just turned 21 last month and have been looking for a good handgun to carry i took my ccw class already using my dad .38 i have been around firearms my whole life between me and my dad we have around 32 guns but only one handgun so i want something small and slim but that packs a punch. ive been looking at the Kahr cw40 have you heard anything about them and what are your views
h3n3r3yx 1 year ago
@h3n3r3yx For packing a punch, obviously the .38 isn't the toughest cartridge around. Your suggestion of the Kahr CW40 is a great choice. Although a little more pricey than a lot of comparable handguns, Kahr makes some of the slimmest guns around. My first experience with a Kahr was my buddy's PM9. My friend let me borrow it and carry it for a day or two and I loved how slim it is. Going with a .40 will give you that "punch" you are looking for. If it is in your budget, I would get it.
Mattsplat1975 1 year ago
@Mattsplat1975 So I decided to go with the Ruger SR9C. It is amazing man gotta check them out!!!!
h3n3r3yx 1 year ago
@h3n3r3yx I was checking those out the other day at a gun shop. Tell me what you like about it. I am a little undecided about it and I haven't shot it so I am curious.
Mattsplat1975 1 year ago

WildBillGT 1 year ago
@WildBillGT Yeah, you really did get lucky. Enjoy shooting it. Write me back and tell me what you think when you have shot it! It isn't a comfortable gun to shoot. I liked your vid. I just had one question I was wondering after the last round goes through the barrel does the slide stay open or do you have to pull the slide back to see if there's no more rounds??????
marcodz1 1 year ago
@marcodz1 Excellent question, my friend! A very important one too. I wish every handgun and rifle made would hold-open on an empty mag. Sadly, this is not one of them. Unless you are counting bullets as they go sailing out the barrel, the only indication you will have that you are empty and should reload or begin running is a click (also known as the loudest sound in the world).
Mattsplat1975 1 year ago

I carry the exact same combo. You really do forget that you are carrying a weapon. The LCP has proven to be very reliable I carry either Hydra-Shock or Critical Defense ammo. Both feed just fine and pack a serious punch for a .380. For those who say bigger is better, I agree but a .380 in the pocket beats a .45 in the glovebox! Especially if you are not in the car!!

@demmylowther I have seen the advertising and if they are as reliable at expanding as they say they are, it is impressive. The only problem is that I JUST CAN'T FIND ANY. PanamaNano 1 year ago
Mattsplat1975 1 year ago
Do you prefer carrying an extra magazine with this gun? My dad's getting the same holster without a laser and doesn't prefer to carry an extra mag.
IMFDB 1 year ago
@IMFDB Right now it is in my pocket in my pocket holster and the extra mag is in the cargo pocket of my shorts. I don't always carry an extra mag but it is never a bad idea. Having extra ammo is always a good idea but carrying the gun with you is the most important. With such small mag capacity it would really suck to run out and need it!
Mattsplat1975 1 year ago
@Mattsplat1975 Yeah I don't agree on carrying an extra mag or two unless your getting death threats. You should see "GunWebsites" YouTube page and search for "What do you carry? EDC Gear" they carry a ridiculous amount of weapons from a minimum of 2 pistols, a camera, flashlight, knife and some extra mags.
IMFDB 1 year ago
I recently bought one of these guns and I absolutely love it. It's a breeze to shoot and is very accurate and it conceals very nicely with a pocket holster. You can carry one in your front pocket and it can be drawn and fired very quickly in an emergency self defense situation. The stopping power of a 380 at close range can be devastating especially with a head or neck shot, I hope I never have to defend myself or my home with it but it's nice to have it around just in case.

@OzClawhammer Yeah, I do. Since this little guy only holds 6 in the magazine I like to top off so I have a total of seven. With such a small caliber and small magazine capacity I want that extra shot.
Mattsplat1975 1 year ago
@OzClawhammer
I've never accidentally hit the magazine release while shooting. The biggest problem when shooting is I don't have a confident grip, which causes me to want to re-grip the gun after every shot.

i have a question about ammo..for cc,would you use a fmj or hollow point ,i thinking a fmj so it would go through clothing etc anybody have any answers

About how much did you have to spend for the whole set up, holster, laser and such? I
