@LivesUnderABridge A Skylit Drive is post-hardcore, not emo. And, yeah, I like them; they're my favorite band. But I also like other bands that happen to be very different. I am NOT scene. I've never been to Warped Tour. My favorite day of the year is actually Christmas Eve, because I get to spend time with family and I love the winter. I don't particularly enjoy hanging out at the mall. I'd rather be at home or hanging out with friends at the park.
A Skylit Drive is screamo. However the term screamo tends to generate negative opinions since it's so fucking gay, so bands like A Skylit Fag changed their genre name to "post-hardcore" even though they sound nothing like real post-hardcore bands (see: Fugazi, Big Black, Drive Like Jehu, etc.)
So perhaps before you go off accusing people of close-mindedness you should: a) have a clue what you're talking about, b) stop listening to BrokeNCYDe and c) fucking kill yourself.

@LivesUnderABridge A Skylit Drive is post-hardcore, not emo. And, yeah, I like them; they're my favorite band. But I also like other bands that happen to be very different. I am NOT scene. I've never been to Warped Tour. My favorite day of the year is actually Christmas Eve, because I get to spend time with family and I love the winter. I don't particularly enjoy hanging out at the mall. I'd rather be at home or hanging out with friends at the park.

A Skylit Drive is screamo. However the term screamo tends to generate negative opinions since it's so fucking gay, so bands like A Skylit Fag changed their genre name to "post-hardcore" even though they sound nothing like real post-hardcore bands (see: Fugazi, Big Black, Drive Like Jehu, etc.)
