The Thunderbolt is NOT the Thor/Summoner. It's an I.S. Mech.

The Ryoken/Stormcrow part yes. How the Free Rasalhauge Republic got their hands on that I will never know.

It's a Thunderbolt Mech. Piece for piece it may resemble a Summoner, but take a closer look, it's not really like that (the PPC carrier should be on the right arm and the "face" is different) Ever used the Mech cheat or looked at the very last segment of Mission 5 (or read the briefing on that)?

yes i was thinking the same thing and the summonor wouldnt go that fast

@c4167 The Summoner goes as fast as the Timber Wolf as far as MechWarrior 2 standards go (86.4 kph). Keep in mind this game came out a year after Mech2.

I remember this game! I had a genesis as a kid, and had this game, except it was called Battletech. Can someone else confirm this?

Yes, it is BattleTech for Genesis, Mech3050 for SNES.

BTech Advantages: Better weapon sounds.

Mech3050 Advantages: Manual torso twist, more cheats.
