They might have money out their ass but they live in the middle of absolutely nowhere.. Take a look at the scenery. Closest strip is a few hundred miles away. An abandoned air strip works just the same.

@piecartbox That's a stupid question. Hmm maybe it has something to do with a 6.2L 90 degree V8 taking up all the space between the wheel wells. And 9psi might seem like chump change on say a DSM with 8.5 compression. But two 380CFM turbos at 9psi on an 8 cylinder with 10.4 compression? All he needed after that was heavier valve springs to keep the boost from blowing them open, a bit of fuel and a tune and he came out around 615rwhp. And turbos make way more power than blowers, bud ;)

SRT-8 jeeps r very fast but if I had a twin turbo powerd LS3 i'd take the car back to where i had the turbos installed and tell em turn em up or be buliding my motor tranny drive train braking system susption strengthing the frame and installing two T3's or T4 turbos then run the jeep both car look great

so the piont of this video is: camaro ss lighter same stock for stock hp.2 turbos vs. jeep srt8 with vortech & awd..yet the jeep had to give a 5 car lead & it still caught the camaro ss & beat it!!! It also had a water to air intercooler, NO BACK SEAT, a BUILT DRIVELINE [unlike the Camaro], and SLICKS on all 4 wheels. Secondly, take a few seconds to read the other posts. I said that a new clutch brought the Camaro into high 10s..

@dv713 You do realize that 5th Gen Camaros weigh in at near 3800lbs? The motor is bone stock, save some stiffer valve springs to keep them from blowing open from the boost. Just a little fuel and 9psi. Now, throw on some 315mm Nitto Invo tires, and that 614 whp has a bit more 'stick' when it tries to move that 3800 pounds. Weakest point is going to give. He was burning the piss out of that stock clutch. New clutch? Hello 11s
