I have always liked to watch sumo wrestling. I find it interesting and exciting and the rounds only last generally a few seconds and mostly less than a minute. This sport is for people with ADD. ;) But in all seriousness, it takes dedication to do what they do every day. They eat a lot, but also train a lot. And the beginners have to do everything they are told. They scratch the backs of the older sumos and get their meals last and have to clean up everything.

@corya94 Machida used to be a sumo. But as a martial art it isn't allowed in MMA as people would probably, in reality, die. Those face palms have got to be harder than any punch thrown in the UFC and if you even get jabbed by one in a normal boxing match you would probably go down with one hit.

these guys are palm striking rather than palm pushing, no wonder two of the guys got knocked out and lost. this should be sanctioned as it is illegal to hit. palm striking is almost as hard as punching as seen in Pancrase.

you win my either taking down you're oppnenet, throw'em out of the circle or push him off the circle, or even by knocking you're opponent out by palm strikes(really rare but in this video you can see it at the last match. and since there is no weight limit in sumo, that is why sumo wrestler's try to gain more weight to their advantages.

Co-referee is selected from Oyakatas(retired wrestler).

They use video-replays in case of need from 40 years ago.
