Reading comments about people debating about who is better in english really made me burst out laughing. Be it the pinoys or malaysians, or even myself, we have alot more to learn. Im good in english, no doubt about that, but i dont boast around about my ability to communicate in english. We should be thankful that all of us can communicate through english. Obviously she can sing but these kind of songs are just too big for her. I noticed that she sang the song in a lower key than the original version. It looked liked she is trying so hard to be somebody else. Her voice is ordinary, nothing special and forgettable. Poor musicality and quite a boring performance. She might be famous in her country, but by international standards, she is not great and definetely not one of the best.
If by 'the original version' you mean Dolly Parton's version, then she's singing it a few semitones higher here. If you mean Whitney's version, then she's singing it in the same key.
Quite frankly, I don't think your musical opinion is worth anything if you can make such a claim and be so incredibly wrong.

the never ending debate of english speaking country. Im not a malaysian, nor am I a filipino. But look, yes, knowing english makes you better, but It doesnt makae u less capable. It is just an extra language that enables you to communicate in a larger diversity of ommunity. but filipinos, if u think you are good in english, you're wrong. Look at the sentence structure, grammar, vocab, tenses and you'll realise something. that there's more to learn. So, dont boast but be thankful.

Obviously she can sing but these kind of songs are just too big for her. I noticed that she sang the song in a lower key than the original version. It looked liked she is trying so hard to be somebody else. Her voice is ordinary, nothing special and forgettable. Poor musicality and quite a boring performance. She might be famous in her country, but by international standards, she is not great and definetely not one of the best.

If by 'the original version' you mean Dolly Parton's version, then she's singing it a few semitones higher here. If you mean Whitney's version, then she's singing it in the same key.
Quite frankly, I don't think your musical opinion is worth anything if you can make such a claim and be so incredibly wrong.
