The other one the camera was all over the place, this is how your films should be like, steady, and stablized, not bouncing all over place like the other gumball 3000 video I watched... @dragonmasterbiz2009 Thanks. Remember the GoPro only came out after these videos were filmed. This is a Canon GL2. Not a fan of the GoPro HD's audio. It sounds awful. Countour HD is better for the price. Most of the stuff we do isn't planned; its run and shoot illegal stuff (sometimes) so mounting 20lb DV cameras isn't practical compared to hand held. We do greatly prefer mounted though.

@IMVFilms Oh ok,Well what I would also suggest for handheld cameras too is the Fuji Film Fine Pix S2800 or the S4000 models,that can also shoot HD video,& as better low lighting & filming options. there is 18 x or more optical zoom, & once zoomed to the max unlike digital zoom, it doesnt make the farthest zoomed image/video look pixelated. It also has the 18 x optical zoom also while you are filming with it,& they are about $300 to $500 dollars,find them on ShopNBC.com its a good Investment too

@IMVFilms 2nd reply:Also even on the go,there are stablizer stands that you can get for cars, too; that is kind of like a gyro stand set,& they are fairly easy to use,set up & get your camera on them in a hurry. Those generally can be found at like Best Buy or some other camera/ retail stores.But yeah I would recomend the Fuji Film Fine Pix S2800 or the S4000 for cameras,that can shoot HD video.They really do have a lot of great low lighting auto fix features. & the Zooms on those are phonominal

@dragonmasterbiz2009 Thanks for the info. We're due for an HD upgrade soon. We started filming in 2002 and most of our footage with GL2s is from 2003-2007. Hoping to make a sequel to Vehicular Lunatics soon. We had rollbar mounts, and a Manfrotto suction cup mount for some of the vehicle shots.
