"Toppled Trans AM" aired before "Truck Trapped Mechanic". However, the pick-up truck incident happened on December 28, 1992, which was eight days before "Toppled Trans AM" aired on television.
Seeing as I can count on my hand the amount of times I've been on a boat and that none of them have required a Dinghy I don't find it at all surprising that I didn't know what it stood for.
I remember the Stranded Octos segment. The Pedigrue couple get stranded at sea for like 3 days when their compass breaks, flairs go unanswered, and their anchor line breaks.
No food, no water! Elderly couple too.
And on arrival getting home, a swarm of people are waiting to welcome their return!
Sure but: no one got really hurt... you got coconuts... get the dinghy back... fix the engine...make a small shack.. get shade...coconut, coconut, coconuts... you can survive on that.... Then ... why would you go from an island to another with a Dinghy?? and no water... oh well you learn from your mistakes.... he wears glasses... break them put the lenses together and make fire with the sun
merry Christmas- get stranded on an island! I guess it's pretty deep off that beach. I can't find it on a map, but it looks absolutely beautiful! at 7:10- is that a waterspout? last question- does anybody know how to compare a BVI hospital to an american hospital? I know that I would never want to go to a USVI hospital if I could go to an american standard one, having been down there and having a family in the medical business.
Off the top of my head, there are only four segments that used the ship logo: Aussie Whale Save, this one, beached whale in California, and scuba diver runs out of air (from episode 708). There were also only four episodes I can think of that used the police boat logo: Ultralight hits cliff over lake, Aussie hot air balloon save, boat explosion, and Circling Boat Rescue.
here's my own opinion fake or not why this was an all christmas themed episode many kids who were fans of this show were probably good boys and girls towards christmas so producers decided there should be a christmas themed episode.
Today Brian would be 35 and Stephanie would be 33. They're probably both married with children.

This incident reminds me of the book, 'The Island of Doctor Moreau,' by H.G. Wells.
I'm reading it right now, but I haven't gotten to the part where he gets stuck on the island.
It's a creepy story, like most creations by H.G. Wells. If not creepy they're strange.

Interesting that this coast guard boat logo and the animated police boat logo were only used at least four times.

fyi the coastguard boat in the opening of this segment is from "Stranded octos" #110 for those who don't know.

Apparently having a truck in park and having the emergency on his not enough to secure a truck from rolling onto you while working under it....
That's just my theory from watching the preview..
happy7117 3 years ago
"The emergency brake was on. It was in park, and nobody thought...."
Can anybody else recall what he says in the preview because it cuts off.
happy7117 3 years ago
Nobody thought to block it.

What are those things that the tires of the truck are resting on....
I believe the tires of the trans-am were resting on them as well??
I don't own a pick-up truck or a trans-am, so I'm just guessing he overlooked a precaution.
Put some cinder blocks behind the tires of the truck to keep those tires from rolling from their resting position.
I am guessing pushing down on the fender to get the teter-tauter motion going would have gotten the truck off him. I am not sure though.

The young lad was bleeding. He was in shock. That alone is a serious injury. It only takes 300cc's of blood loss to kill an adult.
As for your you shouldn't have done this or that, everything on earth works the way it does because hind sight is 20/20.

A pal at 9:44, did you not watch segment 4 of Episode 412??!!
Had he watched the toppled Trans-am segment before going out to work on his truck, the truck would not have rolled onto him!
412 segment 4 and 612 segment 4 are the same segment realy.
Just one's a truck, one's a trans-am.
happy7117 4 years ago
if there is four segments from Epsidoe 612, what the fourth one? i only know 3
1:BVI Dinghy Disaster
2:Aussie Santa Save
3:Chrsitmas bulb choke

at least the BVI hospital would be free

true. I mean, I'm not knocking them at all. I think that the British would be an excellent hospital, and thank God for the VISAR.

And here's another interesting note: The ship graphic that's used coming back from commercial in this segment.

here's an interesting thing to note notice the Rescue 911 lettering the Word RESCUE is thin in this episode.

They did that for all season 6 and 7 episodes (Except 601, which still had the bold letters).
