Alarm needs an off switch! What good is an alarm that you can not transport from location to location with out it going off the whole way! The destination never looked so good as the jurney is just diplorable having to hear that shrill the hole way! Needs improvements.
So to be clear, the lock won't arm if the IR sensor isn''t blocked? (presumably by the rotor) Would like to know how this works before buying, thanks in advance if you can help!
Thanks for your interest in our products. Yes, correct, unless the IR sensor is blocked by your brake disc rotor, the arming sensor will not arm. The alarm will not arm when stored under your bike seat etc.
Also: when the disc lock has not been touched for a few minutes, the IR sensor itself goes dormant to preserve battery life. To "wake" the alarm sensor up, simply tap the lock body with something metallic (the key opening the lock usually does the trick).
