  • BrazilianGirlDoll That is Hawkin's kennedy and in no way is it external rotation of the arm. I strongly suggest you recap all of your anatomy and physiology before criticizing further videos.

  • @Greg321m - Greg what action is turning the palm out and pointing the thumb downwards? It is forearm pronation.

Forearm pronation or supination will have no effect on shoulder rotation.

Hawkins kennedy test is a shoulder test, so you could have the elbow straight for all it matters and still be able to perform an accurate test.

Therefore palm out or in doesn't effect the test at all

  • This is not Hawkin's test: you're performing an external rotation of his arm, while the correct maneuver is an internal rotation of the arm.

  • @BrazilianGirlDoll No, they are actually performing an internal rotation =)

  • they're smirk at each other 40 seconds in!

  • @yumyumtofu you can see his shoulder 'clunk' right before...then they crack up but try to hide it :)

  • awesome video...;)

  • 霍金氏測試(Hawkin’s test):在向前舉到到90°使其肩部做內收及內轉時,旋轉軸肌會夾到肩峰前部而出現疼痛。

  • Reading Dr. David Hawkins "Power vs Force" and would like to find the 1, 2, 3s of how to do the test. If anyone can break it down for me, I'd really appriciate that. ~~Thanks ahead, and for those who care about such, I'd sub if you can help me learn to do the test correctly.

  • So tired of studying these special tests!!!!! But great videos for studying, nonetheless!

  • alguien porfavor, puede traducirme al español. lo que dice ? please :(

  • F MY DRS AND SCHOOL COACHES!

  • I think one of them farted at 0:43, but we just couldn't hear it

  • LOL I NOTICED IT TOO!

  • now it's the acromion, look in your anatamy books, how can you find rotator cuff pathology under de coracoid?

  • @lefou55

    Never heard of subcoracoid impingement?

  • @Fangsout1 lookup FUSSI lesion

  • well done but in the narration I think there is a mistake, Hawkins is used to detect impingement at the coracoid process not the acromion

  • Thank you!

  • Test for Shoulder Impingement
