CryEngine 2 still the god of the gaming world, only thing that might challenge it is Frostbite 2, but that remains to be seen.

I reckon Crytek should just ditch the DX11 patch on CryEngine 3 and just bring it back to CE2, this demo clearly shows which engine is superior :S

For me Crysis 1 is the best game ever! The Single and Multi Player have unmatchable graphics! The game play is just awesome and there is not a better Multiplayer that delivers so many possibilities of getting a better player. Even today, in 2011 most computers can not handle this wonderful game! CRYSIS 1 FOREVER ! ! ! :-)))

@TheDrDogood really they are 2 different games and are very hard to compare. One is a linear urban shooter and another is an open jungle setting. It really depends on your playstyle and the type of games you like. Crysis 2 allows for more "over the top" things because of the linearity. I personally like both.

@skeivys pfft probably, unbelieveable it is, Crysis 2: Biggest disappointment of the year so far. It's a clear console port, no DX11 on launch or even near the launch date - BS on Cryteks part - No editor either, Money Milking is a priority to Crytek (i.e releasing a map pack before DX11 and editor). Too linear also. Crytek took a giant excrement on the pc community's faces. Crytek:  "We're aiming to set the graphical benchmark", Pfft my PC runs it better than the original crysis.
