@SVUMJFAN This is these days music. It's happening now. There was always bad music, it's just peple pay more attention to it now, but you can see lots of bands nowadays that are brilliant such as Keane. You just need to look in the right places.

@keaneing Did you know, apart from 1 guy all of keane went to a school near where i live. It's called tonbridge school and it's ridiculously posh and only the smartest kids get in yep one of those boarding schools. Still weird to think they studied in the town next to mine
@MrMoviemaster26 what is the point of bringing up what school they went to they've been making music since they were kids and are therefore a real band. I went to my local comp and don't care that KEane are posh it doesn't give them any advantage in the music world in fact it worked totally against them!

And Richard said that it had too many jocks and didn't cater to people who were interested in anything other than sports (i.e. music)!
I didn't know they're atheists. Cool beans. I'm for damn sure they believe in something beautiful to make such (soul?) touching music that makes me look forward to the day.
@zeb120 People are free to believe in anything they want to: just because you believe in some kind of supernatural creator for which there is no proof but a book (and yes it is just a book) written by people who lived thousands of years ago and which has been translated countless times and therefore is merely a collection of Chinese whispers, does not mean everyone has to. Suffice it to say that I am a firm atheist and have never believed in God, nor fairies, nor father christmas.

@sheitruis Keane aren't much into religion. I'm not saying they're atheists but they've said many times that they aren't religious people. Anyway, this isn't an anti-religious song as many people tend to think. They're just complaining about wars and fights because of religious issues. This song is for the people who only care about what's up there and forget to live. They're just saying "hey, wake up, stop worrying and live your life!"

Keane´s melancolic melodies are the most haunting ones, they can barely get to the level morrisey is able to evoke, I think morrisey still goes further away when it comes about being haunting in the atmosphere and sound.. But this band is amazingly talented .......... british musicians really know how to make indie music ( or at least they did in the 80´s )

One of the things i am proud of in my life is the fact that i love keane and know their music and understand what they are saying. knowing about Keane is one of the best things in my life. :)
I don't know why this song isn't as big as Everybody's changing or Somewhere only we know. I really think this is the best song they've ever made and one of the most underrated songs of the last decade.

Firstly, Keane is not an UNDERRATED band, they have sold over 10 MILLION records world wide, secondly, they are a PIANO BASED ALTERNATIVE ROCK band. i like the fact that you appreciate their music but its a shame for jackfruits like you should have an insight before stating something not true.

Keane or Morrissey give me Keane every time! Didn't Morrissey compare what happened in Norway to what happens in Macdonalds and KFC everyday! How on earth can you compare kids being killed to Macdonalds??? KEANE RULE!!

@hoodsxl no he didn't. He compared the massacre of norway that killed 76 people to the massacre that happens everyday where cows, chickens and other animals are killed in order to satisfy the world's hunger. Now, I don't support Morrisey's idea but he has a point, I mean, we do kill millions of animals every day and nobody says nothing (including myself), which would make me a hypocrite but anyway... that's it.

@Armarcoarmagedon12 - I thought that I had said that! Keane are always saying that we are only animals and like most animals we are built to be omnivours which means we eat vegetation and meat. So unless you choose not to eat meat which is fine by me. I feel that.Morrissey is wrong to compare the killing of 76 innocent teenagers to burgers in Macdonalds!! As it is not your opnion - PEACE UP to you. Cant wait for Keanes' new album! They haven't let me down yet - and that is my opnion.

@hoodsxl To be fair being brittish I doubt they care that much, and anyway they are actually always talking about our corrupt world and all our problems not realy food ones, but mental and society ones. That is my opinion, and what they have said, and suggest through their songs.

@sheitruis Keane aren't much into religion. I'm not saying they're atheists but they've said many times that they aren't religious people. Anyway, this isn't an anti-religious song as many people tend to think. They're just complaining about wars and fights because of religious issues. This song is for the people who only care about what's up there and forget to live. They're just saying "hey, wake up, stop worrying and live your life!"

Keane´s melancolic melodies are the most haunting ones, they can barely get to the level morrisey is able to evoke, I think morrisey still goes further away when it comes about being haunting in the atmosphere and sound.. But this band is amazingly talented .......... british musicians really know how to make indie music ( or at least they did in the 80´s )

i really think that keane is a great band, my favourite in fact, but i can,t understand why, if they seem so smart and deep , they things like "there is no heaven waiting for you" or "spinless dreamers hide in churches". what im tryng to say is that if they dont believe in any god(which i think is a lack of common sense, is just ignorance to think that this world as we know it just appeared from nowhere)they dont need to criticise thos who DO believe in a god.ps:im catholic.

@chrismartinfanxxxxxx well, i believe in God and the christian faith, so i guess you could say that. in what i do in my church, we are anything but spineless dreamers. actually, we aren't spineless anything. i dont know what you think "religious" people do, but we dont hide in churches and dream about things we could do; we go out, and we DO them.

@SucceedinBusiness underrated? pop? i think lately on youtube every video of an artist with not many views, people consider it to be 'underrated' or people with no endowment for music would state it 'pop.' Firstly, Keane is not an UNDERRATED band, they have sold over 10 MILLION records world wide, secondly, they are a PIANO BASED ALTERNATIVE ROCK band. i like the fact that you appreciate their music but its a shame for jackfruits like you should have an insight before stating something not true.
