I am a huge fan of the new explosion sound! What the old sound was really lacking is a sense of scale. The echo present in the new sound makes it feel like the sound actually went far. Maybe if it were louder, it'd be better! ;)

Agree with you on the sound changes, some are cool you know, change its sometimes hard to accept, but its just time to get used to, others like the eating sound really, for me wasnt necessary its just my opinion, i liked the way it was.

Im hoping they fix the glowstone, they've only messed with it sience 1.8, hope they reconsider that.

how is it going with IGN people, are you doing something with them?

really i think minecraft having an integrated texturepack support option is a great model for sounds. soundpack options would be an easy solution to keep the sounds mojang liked and to allow easy customization by users who prefer different sounds.

I think the thing I hate about the trapdoor door and chest sounds is that they are to high pitched and the squeakiness can get just plain annoying really quickly! On the plus side it makes annoying door machines much better! :P
