  • Wow i should have found this video a long ass tine ago!

  • THATS NOT ACNE!!!!!! u have great skin! u dont need foundation!!!!!

  • Robot..?

  • wow really good tutorial! i was also very frustrated when all the top acne gurus wouldnt show a conveninet way to cover acne. i was dying to find a vid that used foundation as a "concealer"! thanks very much :)

  • please watch my makeup video on my foundation routine for bad skin!

  • you're so funny your facial expressions are ahdorable and your tutorial is great thank you ...btw and i know i spell adorable wrong i do it on purpose:p

  • She has the cutest face and her only flaw is acne, which goes by age (trust me i would know lol). I just wish i knew how to cover it so cleverly like she does when i had it. x

  • wow pretty good...

  • I think you don't really need to pile up your face with different moisturizers, primers, or sunblocks. just use one... hmm... I don't use toner anymore 'cause I feel it's really unnecessary... and avoid using makeup if you really want to heal your acne... it works.

  • finally a vid like this! im so annoyed with gurus who say "my skin is far from perfect bla bla bla" -_- they look like barbies.

  • this would have been better if you werent trying to sound so serious and professional...

  • hey girl try to use accutane. it really works x

  • @hopexfaithxloveful ITS THE BOMB I AM SO HOT NOW BECAUSE OF IT. FUCK THE SIDE EFFECTS, THEY ONLY OCCUR ON VERYYYY RAREE CASES!

  • Oh, and lastly, avoid using makeup for the time being?

They clog up pores and would worsen your condition if you do not remove them properly.

  • Think you ought to check if the products you are using is suitable for your already oily skin. For someone with oil prone skin, you should not be using products with alcohol as they are only going to encourage more oil being produced. Find a toner which do not contain any alcohol, it helps. Frequent mask treatment as well as NOT washing more than twice a day helps a lot!

  • I like the video. Atlast i found a natural color skin like mine. Am a filipino, i have a sensitive skin. I tested some beauty products and damage my skin. Im doing the same way like u do ur makeup. Looks funny coz ur on vids but its fun.. More power and smile

  • Honestly, you are the only honest beauty guru. I really like you. Nd for that reason I SUBSCRIBE!! Ur awesome.

  • I feel like you just messed up all of your hard work of concealing your scars by buffing it all out with a brush.

  • @JeanieKitts I was thinking the exact same thing when i watched this video.

  • You should take birth control pills. They help with hormonal acne and cleared my skin

  • Beautiful eyes you had =]

  • You look like jessica alba

  • you should go to a dermatologist. o_o your skin looks really irritated.

  • Love her lips

  • i'm a teenager i have acne. nohing at all compared to your i have like 5 total on my face that you can barely see. my friends have like no acne im, jelous and sometimes get emotional about it even though i don't have that much at all and never realize how lucky i am. but i have my bad days.. anways your brave putting this up i atually believe i like these videos way more for seeing how you deal with it AND what you truley look like unlike the girls; HOW TO APPLY FOUNDTION TO FLAWLESS SKIN.

  • thats looks like a reaction, not acne O.o

  • You should go to (acne .com) It help me alot to make my skin improve trust me it works wonders to my skin and helped me so much . I recommend it to everyone with acne its free.

  • Never never never rub the skin under your eyes, always pat with your pinky finger. When you rub it damages the tissue under the eyes. FYI

  • Finally, someone w/out *flawless* skin doing a foundation tutorial. I can relate now. Thanks!

  • Hi JJ my name is rasha, i really like ur vid, and i been having acne since one year ago i went to doctors no one knows why! and its geting worse im 25 years old and i never had acne before now so if u could help me with ur experience please? did u have it becouse of hermon issue or what?

  • i exfoliate my face with a sliced lemon dipped in salt, this works better than any product. and for foundation either Estee Lauder double wear foundation or YSL perfect touch foundation.

  • It's soooo refreshing to see someone with acne doing a foundation routine on youtube. All these 'perfect' girls are like oh, i actually have really bad skin but they don't.

I have acne so I can relate to you. x

  • hahah the video is funny. . . but it helps a lot

  • can you imagine girls without make-up...they are probably all mingers!!!

  • Dnt dnt dnt wear/use illuminating products wen ur skin is oily - it made ur skin look evn worse

  • You have acne cause of stila cosmetics

  • @L3MONAD33 I have acne because I have PCOS, actually... :( but you're right... some people are be allergic to ingredients in certain cosmetics... I'm just not one of them...

  • @L3MONAD33 no stilla realy good ive been using stila for years and i dont get acne

  • I don't think you should use illuminating products though when you have oily skin...

  • wow you did an amazing job!

  • I love the end lol *Camera gets knocked* "HAZEL!" "Meow!"

Thank you so much for this tutorial! :)

  • Also, you are right. Acne is caused mainly because hormones, but mainly because of genetics. Even if I eat less greasy/sugary food, sleep well, relieve stress, ect. I'll still get breakouts here and there. Plus, the time of your month.

  • True. About the comments about putting less products on the skin. I have suffer with severe acne (very oily skin), but now with TLC my skin is almost cleared because of less products that are used. (I only cleanse, moisturizer, and apply only powder foundation (less is more)). Tint moisturizer is not exactly a moisturizer. It is still makeup. So make sure to apply a oil-free moisturizer after cleansing.

  • have you ever thought all that product can cause your acne?

  • @chloehannahx1 no, with proper hygienic practices and skin care, most cosmetics don't cause acne. sometimes cosmetics contain ingredients such as bismuth oxychloride and mica that can incite acne in those allergic. since the making of this video though, i have discovered that my acne is caused by a hormonal issue. thanks for the good question.

  • @hummiemd yeah i only get acne on my chin - which i found out is hormonal, the thing what is working for me is 'Duac' basically benzoyl peroxide, anyways i hope you find something that workis for you! this video is great :) x

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for keeping this awesome video so short! I get so sick of watching 15-20 minute videos on the same thing!

  • I really love the results and how you emphasized keeping acne moisturized.

  • this is great! i have the same skin as you, lots of acne scaring on the sides of my face, and a little on the chin and forehead. nice to see someone with ACTUAL acne-prone skin do a video on this

  • @aulae thank you for your comment :) I really appreciate it!

  • Does u face get greasy with all that priming and stuff on ur face

  • @singers032 on the contrary, i feel the priming helps control my oily skin :) everyone's skin is different, though, so it's best to ask the advice of a trusted aesthetician about what products would be best for your skin. i currently only use clinique's moisturizer under liquid foundation. this technique can be used with liquid foundation if you use a medium to full coverage liquid foundation, using the foundation first all over in a single layer then spot concealing with the same foundation.

  • love this video very much! finally someone who really does have this problem...all the other videos i've watched were made by gals who don't look like they have major skin problems at all..

  • You are very brave. Good girl

  • I really like this! Thanks !!!

  • WOW. that worked wonders! :O

  • this is amazing!!!

  • Wow! it really looks better! :-D

  • wow you don't speak monotone at all

  • @xXFreddymausXx i am so happy that this video helped you!

  • @21tokidoki congrats on getting rid of most of your acne! it is still a battle for me. it goes away and comes back, sigh. well, there's makeup until it's gone for good! :)

  • oh god i so agree with you about the other gurus showing their foundationsroutines. it is not helpful to the regular person with acne and frustrates me so much because if i had skin as clear as theirs i would even bother with foundation! quick tip though acne sufferers please dont use any products with shimmer or glitter it highly draws attention to your face and acne!! stick with matte. if you have especially bad cheeks with scars or acne i would suggest staying clear of blush altogether!!

  • @katrinam123 that is very true. i would avoid shimmery products on areas with acne. right now, i actually have some acne on my cheeks from a hormonal breakout. instead of blush, i am using bronzer in the contours of my face to help define my face shape instead of using blush over my affected areas. anyway, thanks for sharing with us, katrinam123!

  • wow i cant believe you got such great coverage using powder foundation. mineral makeup is great for acne prone skin. the techniques you used were awesome and very helpful. i really noticed a huge difference from before and after. you didnt cake on the makeup in order to cover everything, the application was just right

  • Thanks so much.

    <3

  • @Dooniuh I am very happy if this video helps!

  • I love how real and down to earth you are (:

Btw, are your brow naturally like that? I love them! They just look so perfect

  • @LaulavaSammakko thank you ;) you are very sweet. my eyebrows are naturally thick, and i need to wax or pluck them with tweezers. i think the new fashion is leaning toward thicker eyebrow shapes!

  • Hii! I never had acne but just some skin problems. Ive never seen such helpful vid about how to cover acne scars! Its realy well done. Much love XoXo

  • @InterGlam thank you for your comment!

  • hey i loved how yu had the courage to show us how to cover up blemishes.. this acually really helped . thanks a lot ;D

  • @7294raquel thank you so much for saying so. i am so happy to have helped :)

  • Y not use a liquid foundation and blend lightly with a foundation brush this helps me cover my spots (but i dont have acne) and it will last longer probs if u set with powder just a bit of advice it will probs cover everything insted of you being able to see it xx!!xx

  • @LauraLuvsVampsx you can also use the method shown with liquid foundation. i have found that during the winter, i prefer liquid foundation. choose a buildable medium to full coverage foundation e.g. nars sheer glow. you would first tone skin, then apply moisturizer. apply the foundation all over face. then go back and with a fine brush or fingertip, apply the liquid foundation over blemishes. i find that this is better than using a thick concealer, which almost highlights a blemish.

  • this video definately convinced me to try powder foundation! i always thought it would not cover anything but clearly it does!

  • @oursongtayswift glad to help! just make sure to check the ingredients for anything you may be allergic to such as bismuth oxychloride or titanium dioxide as it may actually cause acne in some people.

  • FINALLY! >.> its true those people can't show you how to hide acne when they don't have any. Its like the people showing you about corsets or weight loss pills when they're already skinny or fit!! But this is good thanks!! 8D

  • @Lipstick745 thanks for watching!

  • u realize when u "buff" the makeup ts just spreading it and not giving u as much coverage

  • @chelseaa321 well, not buffing powder products would result in a serious makeup malfunction. no one likes weird spots on the face. though, i was probably very thorough in the video. light buffing is more of what i was after. blending is key :)

  • YOUR EYEBROWS ARE LIKE THOSE OF GODDESS

  • @turnip0pie ;D you are sweet

  • usar crema humectando obstruye los poros aunque esta diga que es especial para el acne es mentira!

  • @risettomon i'll have to look into that!

  • u have soo much acne from the so much make up u put on that can ruin ur face

  • @DottieRockes789 Why are you watching this video if you just came to ridicule?

  • @DottieRockes789 i wish my acne was from the makeup i put on my face. then, it would be easy to cure! unfortunately, my adult onset acne stems from hormonal problems. i used to have perfect skin up until a few years ago. i hope one day it doesn't happen to you. i wouldn't wish acne problems on my worst enemy. acne affects your self esteem and confidence. it makes you hate yourself. think about that the next time you see someone with acne.

  • Great video! Thank you!

  • @magdalulu thank you for watching!

  • thanks so much for this! it's great to see a real person doing beauty tutorials without pretending to be flawless. I think you're beautiful! thanks again!

  • @jackieoh1234 thank you for your sweet comment :)

  • @jackieoh1234

    you are so right!! :D

  • you look amazing!!!!!!! that was great :~]]]]]

  • @cupcaketoxic thank you :) you are sweet :)

  • I like that you actually have the problem; in terms of knowing something about it.

Can you upload your vids on youku so they are available in china? :D.

  • @truevoiceofsanity ah, that is a good suggestion. maybe i will try to do so when i have time. as you can see, i have not uploaded any new videos recently.

  • Hi thanks for this vid. My girl friend has acne and maybe similar yours, sometimes less. It really hurts her confidence and sometimes makes her depressed. :(. I often wish I could help. :(. We are in long distance relationship and I miss her 24/7. Sometimes she made me promise to PS her pics lol. To be honest, didn't want to; I love her. :(. Another way to conceal it a bit is to smile; its natural to exaggerate the problem a bit. I wish I knew how to cure it tho. Lots of fake products. :(.

  • @truevoiceofsanity well, consider that the acne affects her confidence and self esteem. makeup helps to improve both. there's no way a person can smile when he or she feels ugly.

  • wowy gurl thinks this rlly helps lik i hate how people do this tht dont hav acne iam lik...."wat r u doin wastin all theses people times" but u r rlly pritty(no lie) and u giv rlly great tips...thnks!!!!!!!!!!!!(::::::

  • @sweetfame13 thanks for watching and being sweet :)

  • hey i think ure really brave to do this video, & its such a great help! my acne is mostly on my cheeks (hate acne scars that won't go away too).. so thanks so much babe! :)

  • @misspetites thank you for the kind words. i am so glad to help :)

  • you should try using products with no shimmer, more matte products, because shimmery dewy makeup like that excentuates (no idea how to spell that) your pores and blemishes. and idk if you have oily skin but it makes it look oilier. but your so gorgeous you barely need any eye makeup compared to mee!

  • @clayrekieran it's very true that shimmery products can accentuate blemishes, especially if they are bumpy. thankfully, this foundation is a diffuse glow rather than a shimmer. thanks for the comment!

  • Wow love this <3

  • @Imagenatioon thank you :)

  • your great

  • haha after u put on the primer u look like a sparkly vampire haha hello twilite

  • @dancergirl781 that would be a good idea for a halloween look lol

  • ur face have alot of zit or acn don't use anything with cream or special thing

u think that its get better for ur face No,,it would get more zit, it come out alot

if u want ur face don't have any acn don't hide it just leave it, when u hide it look perfect, when u wash ur face ,acn come out more than more.....

i have alot acn like u too,,i just use only cold water to wash my face, soft town, i didn' t need to make up,to cover or hide it,during i had acn,, now my face no more acn..

  • @302520016 thank you for the advice. unfortunately, my acne does not occur from makeup use or lack of hygienic practices. my acne is due to hormonal issues. i have actually gone straight without using makeup for months and still get major acne breakouts. congratulations to you for not having any more acne :)

  • dude, you look like Jessica Alba! ;D

  • @cottrox that is sweet of you to think so ;)

  • THANK YOU. you're right, all the gurus do have perfect skin and then they do "acne foundation routine" its great to see someone whos not like them. thank you. my skin is just like yours too.

  • @PierreManchesto thank you for watching and commenting!

  • hi are filipina?

  • @ilovecosme123 hi yes

  • Thanks so much, I love this video, helped me alot (:

  • @no1doctorwhofan4ever i'm so glad to have helped!

  • this video really helped alot thanx(:

  • @phxckinqDolly thank you for letting me know that it helped!

  • I normally don't like the make youtube videos because i think they're all pretty bad, HOWEVER, you proved me wrong girl!!! This video was amazing, everyone seems to forget about the moisturizer but you didnt !! I REALLY loved it, and you look gorgeous.

  • @canUguess23 thank you for your sweet comment!

  • i would use moisturizer but i seriously notice more blackheads/pimples after one application :( my face has its own moisturizer basically! haha but this was helpful! thanks

  • @justintfan you can get a pretty good acne fighting moisturizer by clean & clear at the drugstore. it has salicylic acid, which should prevent your pores from clogging.

  • @hummiemd I use that moisturizer! It has helped prevent spots since I have started using it, it doesn't stop all spots but it really helps. ^0^

  • @CrazyCookieMonster6 awesome to hear!

  • Whoa i have so much more acne then you do.

I wanna know how to hide it all, im not sure whether to use heavy makeup or light.

    Help?

  • @Linklatr well, everyone is different. some people risk letting some acne show through using lighter foundation and some people prefer to cover everything with heavy foundation. the powder foundation shown in this video only provides medium coverage. if you want full coverage, i would look into full coverage foundations, which are usually creams or liquids. right now, i use NARS sheer glow, which is medium to full coverage and i use the same technique shown in this video.

  • @Linklatr it depends on what skin type you have. if you have oily skin, use concealer on the main red spots and set it with powder foundation, preferbly a skin clearing one to keep your skin healthy. if you have dry skin, use a miosturizing creme or liquid foudation and set it with a translusent or tinted powder... whatever u prefer :)

  • @Linklatr Try to use light products and mineral foundations! Take as much foundation you feel comfortable wearing, but as little as possible! Try finding a formula that will not clog up your pores, and get a skin cleanser and an acne treatment cream that suits your skin :-) Hope it helps a little :-P

  • arggghhh haha i hate my SKIN!

but you're a pretty girl, so it doesnt matter :)

    thanks for the tips

  • I love it :) I searched for this video sooo long :) Thank you :D

  • @UschiDeluxe94 thanks

  • omg you rock! my skin tone is slightly lighter than urs n this helps a lot! i agree! i really hate those stupid tutorials that say they're gonna cover up bt they don't even have acne to begin with

  • good job!

  • I would have never known u hada acne!!!!!! Great job :)

  • @XXBbySDXX thanks ;) you are sweet

  • @amandajoyceisabella thank you for watching and commenting!

  • Thank you so much for this video!!! It's nice to have someone with the same issues as me!! The other make up videos are nice, but their perfect skin foundation routines usually just make me feel worse about muskeg!! That's alot! :D

Oh and I hope you know your beautiful with and without makeup!!!

  • @xxbubbles100 i agree... i would get frustrated watching other foundation tutorials because they didn't really help at all... thank you for being sweet!

  • @missyellowdress i hope they work for you!

  • Thank you so much, I have acne and I really appreciate thhis.

  • @NeonColorable thank you for watching and commenting. i hope this video helped somehow!

  • Does primer have to be the same color as your skin tone?

  • MorgieeDear, no I don't believe primer has to be the same color as your skin tone. Primer should only be applied in a thin layer :)

  • thank you :D

  • what color foundation do you use for everyday minerals? ur so pretty :)

  • Yuna702, thank you! Unfortunately, the stickers have long peeled off, and I do not remember what color I used. However, I ordered from the mediums and tans. EDM has a very easy system in which to try out the shades. I suggest getting one of their free sample kits! :)

  • wow, I think this is the best makeup video i've seen! You are so right about all the other beauty "gurus" having totally spot free skin!! It's so refreshing and nice to see a normal person who is totally honest about their skin. Well done, great video!!

  • @xBMichaelaBx Thank you for your sweet comment :)

  • Are you filipina? I found your vid through someones favorites.

well i dint have much of a problem with acne now, but i did last year, like SEVER, and my acne scars were so bad, it made my acne look even worse than it was.

makeup did what it could and im glad i got into makeup. my skin is practically flawless now. but i appreciate this video.

  • @ohmanitsaface congratulations on getting rid of your acne! i am still on the road to clear skin :) thank you for your comment. it gives me hope :)

  • Amazing! ...You did such a great job with concealing! And I will have to agree with everyone else that it's so nice to see someone else doing these tutorials that has real skin issue like everyone else! You can actually see a transformation. Thanks sooo much! =] You explain things so well too!

    PS, You're beautiful!

  • @tatsudoshi65 thank you for this kind comment! you are very sweet :)

  • lol you should so sarcastic

  • @ajkxstyle i actually get that a lot... i guess my serious voice sounds sarcastic ;)

  • this is an awesome vid! for the first time theirs a normal person with problems like us.... other videos, their models hav clear faces in the first place.... so thnx!!

  • @emacwakeup thank you for the kind comment!

  • thats so amazing that just powder can cover so much! i always thought u had to use thick liquid foundation to get flawless skin (:
