@aglewi41 They do. During Empire she picks up on Luke's mental cry for help when he's hanging on the weather vane and rescues him. Leia's got no need to become a Jedi, and probably no interest in it either. But from what I understand of the Star Wars Expanded Universe, she has lots of children with Han Solo who all become Jedi.
