It's a fairly mild iron block 408. It's definitley late model LS based. It's an iron 6.0 liter block with 5.3 truck heads and runs on pump gas. We recently built a 445 pump gas stroker that went 9.39@142mph with a 1.29 60ft. We went with a powerglide transmission right after this wheel stand took place. It's much safer now.
