Like JC said above...this reminded me of a 'blackened Pompei family' having a pleasant picnic in a nice green park. Subtle and quietly startling. I felt like sitting down with them cuz they seem so peaceful...despite whatever wierd thing they have gone thru.

Interesting - reminds me of images from Egypt, Rome, and Pompeii - all merged into one peaceful outing in the park. Cool stuff! :-)
