I may have missed this, but it strikes me that nobody ever says "where's her body?". If Brendan had killed her, he would have had to dispose of the body somewhere and there's no blood marks or anything which show her being removed from the flat... Someone told me that the book doesn't end like this though?

I love how David can do absolutely no wrong in the eyes of the fans.

Plays a Time Lord? We love it.

Plays an infamous slut? We love it.

Plays a Death Eater? We love it.

Plays a rapist? We love to hate it.

This is amazing acting, and I'm happy to say I can hate the character without hating the actor.

a few weeks after your first watch of this, watch 'anatomy of an obsession' it makes you actually think deeper into it. i actually feel realli sorry for brendon now because he DIDNT kill her, infact he never even actuallyphysically HURT her. he actually genuinly LOVED her. he just had a very strange way of showing it :(

Such a wonderful show. The ending was just magifisent, Miranda and Naomi are two smart cookies. I'm glad Brandon got what he diserved at the end, even if David Tennant rocks his character was a horrible munipulative ass to say the leas.

Yeah, I have the book. I had to get it after watching this. In the book, he gets 6 years for an assault on Miranda, which I think she stages if I remember correctly. Also, in the book, Miranda has a new boyfriend that she begins a new life with.

Um, I know he was a bit of a nutjob but I still feel it's wrong for Miranda and Naomi to set Brendan up! I'm glad Miranda's ok (It would have been pretty harsh on her family otherwise), but I'd rather Brendan had done something that constituted for murder before he got put away for it. Also, on a lighter note, I miss australia. Good acting alround though, and this hasnt put me off dt in the slightest :)

I read the book a while ago and altho they've changed quite a bit of it, including the ending, i love love love it :-) highly recommend the book cos there are some slight differences in it
