It's amazing, the sound quality in this video is great, I can't listen to the audience though, here in Mexico, we were barely able to listen to the band, ea all were yealling so loud the songs... it was bone chilling and awesome.

It was worth it for two reasons - I absolutely adore Rammstein, would do just about anything to see them live. - Also because I've always wanted to travel to NYC. Now they're coming to a place that's only 3 hours north of my city.. I can't believe I get to see them twice in one year!!! :)

why settle with a giant flag if you have such a huge space? every video ive seen of them with the flag has been a much smaller venue. makes sense to me. and who cares, its the fuckin intro. the important part is they are playing the same songs and it looks like a hell of a time.

Rammstein are one of the greatest bands on the planet. I've seen the intro with the German flag (for open air gigs) and it does not matter, both intros are typically Rammstein - stunning!
One thing that does concern me looking at the video is the amount of people taking video with their cameras/phones/etc. Do people go to gigs these days to watch the music and go mental, or to take a video?
@gary999t I think it's different which country and which city,with the handys on concerts and NY is anyway a crazy city with a lot of crazy people and I don't wonder that there are so much people taking a videao.....;-)
On Rock am Ring last year was only few minutes in the beginning everywhere handy lights....

@gary999t I imagine since they pay so much for market value tickets in the General Admission, they want to save the memory for later. I was in that pit, lost my mind to the music and didn't worry about the other people. With the upcoming tour, I think there will be less recording. I think the audience recording does take too much out of the energy, but I can't blame them in a sense, because you wouldn't want that memory to fade.

I have the same concern. However, at the time Rammstein playing in America hadn't happened in forever and everyone wanted to have pictures/videos. I just went crazy, even though I was up in the nose bleeds lol.

@nickmihai1 this intro did kind of suck compared to the other concerts they've done but they dont always have the german flag everytime they perform out of germany. the Rock AM Ring was totally AWESOME especially sonne were they slightly changed the beginning.

Great show, best I've seen in years. The crowd was amazing. The bad part though was that they ran out of the New York shirts pretty early on. Don't know how they couldn't have been better prepared for that.

Best fucking show ever. I had finals and had made arrangements with my professors. NYC is an EPIC CITY to do the show in. There were alot of people going wild, but to be honest with you I think the crowd was shocked and still in fantasy land with Rammstein performing for the first time in 10 years. Unfortunately, they were the ones in the back...the way back.....a few of my friends went and said the pit was the lamest thing ever. I was in a better one in a hole in the wall a few weeks ago.

The pit was awesome in Quebec. I am so glad you got to see Rammstein. I wanted to make this show but it sold out so quick. I have to say that they put on the best show ever. Check out the Quebec opening. It was awesome! I can't wait to see them again!

I think the intro depends on the size of the venue. For the festivals they had the flag and for MSG the wall since there isnt alot of space.

I have the same concern. However, at the time Rammstein playing in America hadn't happened in forever and everyone wanted to have pictures/videos. I just went crazy, even though I was up in the nose bleeds lol.

@nickmihai1 dude i do agree with you, i think the crowd is lame and its probably the last place i would want to see em. but the flag not being there has nothing to do with american pride or nationalism... the reason the flag isnt their is because its an indoor show... out door shows mainly use the flag because the show sometimes kicks off still in broad daylight. it would look stupid doin this intro in broad daylight...

@nickmihai1 this intro did kind of suck compared to the other concerts they've done but they dont always have the german flag everytime they perform out of germany. the Rock AM Ring was totally AWESOME especially sonne were they slightly changed the beginning.

If the crowd was that lazy, and didn't show great appreciation for the band coming here, then why the fuck is it speculated that they are returning to America this year for another tour? @JustSoICanComment777 agreed. i was there too and the show was amazing. the people whining about the crowd also don't realize that most of us had never seen the band live before and were soaking in the spectacle and all the visuals instead of jumping/moshing. seeing Rammstein live is a unique experience and i know i was definitely more interested in watching than acting like an idiot.

@nickmihai1 That's the intro they use at all their regular shows (except some in south america), also at their german shows. The german flag thing is the intro they use at festival shows.

I would have loved to have gone to this show, but I'm all the way in California and I have bills. I've waited years for these guys to come back to the states, and to top it off, this show was on my birthday. I can only hope to make more tour dates.
But at least now I get to see the show on youtube thanks to you! Awesome job, man!

Great show, best I've seen in years. The crowd was amazing. The bad part though was that they ran out of the New York shirts pretty early on. Don't know how they couldn't have been better prepared for that.

Cool concert I guess. I can call myself lucky because I am German, like Rammstein! :D But I am sorry for you that there was just one concert for you Americans. The last performing of them was at the pledge of allegiance tour in 2001. I hope for you that they will perform another concert, best would be a tour through America ;) Rammstein and SoaD are best btw^^

Best fucking show ever. I had finals and had made arrangements with my professors. NYC is an EPIC CITY to do the show in. There were alot of people going wild, but to be honest with you I think the crowd was shocked and still in fantasy land with Rammstein performing for the first time in 10 years. These chants were 5 times louder in person I wasn't in the pit, but I was going NUTS!!!! <3 RAMMSTEIN!!! I came all the way from LA!!!

@streacker that's cuz rich assholes went to this concert. This shit was much to expensive at the garden for reg folks who actually would have tore that shit the fuck up. Unfortunately, they were the ones in the back...the way back.....a few of my friends went and said the pit was the lamest thing ever. I was in a better one in a hole in the wall a few weeks ago.

The pit was awesome in Quebec. I am so glad you got to see Rammstein. I wanted to make this show but it sold out so quick. I have to say that they put on the best show ever. Check out the Quebec opening. It was awesome! I can't wait to see them again!
