Also the maker of that film is not a hater of Adelaide. He is lover of it (I think). I've never met a single one of those characters actually living in Adelaide, except the father, his son and Jack and Sally. That's what makes Adelaide Punk such a fun, magical, crazy ride.

It was mostly a love letter to John Waters but done with an orginal soundtrack and original characters. All the locations were chosen to go with the story and characters. If any people out there see this as a film showing what Adelaide is like, they're misguided. Come out to Adelaide spend a a year here and then you can see what Adelaide is truly like.
