I apologize for the technical glitch. I'm going to make a new video. I cannot seem to fix the problem with the original. If you are a subscriber, you'll be notified when the new video is posted. Thank you, Steve.
hey man this video is awesome and i am gonna try to build my own but like the other viewer it stops at 4:31 mark. is there a way you could re upload it or message me it thanksss
when I print with water based inks I don't flash - I cure the shirts under the flash dryer - currently they are curing at 40 seconds once the dryer is completely warmed up - the dryer is approx 4" above the shirt platform
I chose the peg board instead of the ceramic tiles because of weight. I've had no issues with the peg board, I never keep the dryer hovering over a peg board without a shirt. When I'm printing without assistance the 4 stations are fine and I don't find myself getting backed up. With someone helping I add the 5th station. Even with the ceramic tiles I would image it's not a good idea to keep the dryer hovering over one. Thanks for the comment.
Why not use ceramic tiles instead of the peg board ?Use liquid nails to attach to the arms like the silkscreennow guy did with his poor mans conveyor. Wouldn't warp and you could and have 5 stations. Tho it would be heavier.
That unit is a 15x15 Flash Dryer from Screenprintingnow com - it's specifically made for the garment industry and to cure screen printing inks. It's been working great. My temp readings have been around 650-700 degrees when warmed up. Thanks, Steve.
Could you tell me what you used as the actual heat/light source? The white, flat, metal box unit that seems to be the centerpoint of the unit. and do you have a ballpark estimate of the temperature that is reached by the unit? Thank you very much!
The actual flash dryer is the same. I redesigned the system so that the dryer is mounted on a stand with tracks on the ground instead of the tracks on top with the counter weight set up. I felt the stand version was safer and more versatile.

Hi. The video keeps freezing at the 4:31 mark. Also, do you have a written plan of this set up? Thanks.

I use either Gildan Ultra Cotton 2000 or Gildan Heavy Cotton 5000. I generally purchase from JiffyShirts
