Reverse racism? are you serious. These people were stripped of their land their home their pride their respect and livelihood for centuries. If you have ever been through that you would know the pain that travels through the blood of the slain? do not be foolish. Jewish people are told never to forget. Southern Americans never forget the Civil War. But, you ask Black people to forget. We must never forget! We are AFRICA!
proud to be African although i am not from South African, but Nelson Mandela is one of the best African leaders in the whole African Nations. If all the African leaders were like Mandela, there will not be any corruptions in the African countries.
I loved this documentary when it first came out. i'm so happy it's on youtube now. i ran out and bought the soundtrack, and it's soooo awesome. the toyi-toyi at the beginning still never fails to give me chills.
While it's nice to see the Bloomberg for Mayor ad, I hope that this does not mean, that the Amandla doc is only available in New York City, and not worldwide.
reverse racism isn't just as bad. first, u need to understand what racism is and that its not prejudice or just saying racial slurs. You need to understand the concept of institutionalized racism. Then get back to me. I fail to see how anything related to this video sparks the idea of reverse racism.
Er yes, reverse racism is just as bad. Any form of racism is bad. It's one thing to be prejudiced, but another thing to keep holding a grudge against someone who wasn't even personally involved in anything, just because of their race!
@MJUSAYIN So you disregard the years of imperialism and its implications in the present? I wasn't personally involved, but you are kidding yourself if you think you got where you are today without the help of your parents parents parents parents, who were indeed involved in the exploitation of Africans in some way.
this is why we must not sleep,we must keep up the struggle so all people can live in peace, luv and harmony thru the world and we in america have to take the lead in terrorism in this country(kkk, aryans, etc.)and be an example to the world that we can live as one jah rastafari, jahbless everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!
Made me cry. I remember looking at the young ones my age and taking mental notes in case we need to march like that. It made "We shall overcome" look like a sunday picnic.
I think the opening music sounds Zulu. I am not Black but am a student of culture and history, all cultures and history. Music crosses color boundries. I love this, brilliant.
Our music is already the shiznik in all forms, but there's something about our Zulu, Xhosa brothers and sisters that makes the hairs on my neck stand up.
