yeah this is a great song . i am a father raising my boy on my own and have been since he was about 6 months old. the mother of my lil boy walked out on the both of us for another guy. and well i would do anything for my boy. i would take a bullet for him and i would even take the shirt right off my back for him and i would go hungery just to make sure he had the things that he needs. we need more songs that show us single fathers more respect and that for us raising the kids .

So many times a person hears a song that means so much for what ever the reason is, this song is no different. 3 yrs ago this past May, I lost my father, he missed meeting his grandson, which is my first biological child. I can only now, understand what my father was teaching us kids growing up it only took me 37 yrs. Charish the time that you have with your parents, 'cuz you never know when their time will come. Even though shes only a month old there is nothing I wouldnt do to keep her safe, fed and warm. Even if it means getting a second job I would go through hell just so she can have a good life

I know I lived a charmed life, because my dad, even though he was gone at times with the Air Force, loved me with all he had (mom did too). I have two sons of my own now, and my youngest will soon welcome his first child (a son). I look forward to seeing him be a dad. I have loved being a dad and it has made me appreciate my dad even more.

yeah this is a great song . i am a father raising my boy on my own and have been since he was about 6 months old. the mother of my lil boy walked out on the both of us for another guy. and well i would do anything for my boy. i would take a bullet for him and i would even take the shirt right off my back for him and i would go hungery just to make sure he had the things that he needs. we need more songs that show us single fathers more respect and that for us raising the kids .

So many times a person hears a song that means so much for what ever the reason is, this song is no different. 3 yrs ago this past May, I lost my father, he missed meeting his grandson, which is my first biological child. I can only now, understand what my father was teaching us kids growing up it only took me 37 yrs. Charish the time that you have with your parents, 'cuz you never know when their time will come. I took things for granite, something I will regret till my time will come.

This is the song of my life. Im only 23 and I now know what a daddy goes through. My wife and I had our first child together just last month. Even though shes only a month old there is nothing I wouldnt do to keep her safe, fed and warm. Even if it means getting a second job I would go through hell just so she can have a good life

everytime i hear this video I tear up! i was with my ex for almost 6 yrs and we had two little girls together before she left me and she doesn't let me see my kids as much as I'd like to. I've been there since the day she was pregnant with both and I miss them everyday and I'm lost without my kids. Like today is my youngests birthday and she wont let me see her, its been a bad day for me because of that.

I just hope a pray that one of these days he will get the chance to meet her when he's a little bit older, and understanding. Havent heard from her since she left. its hard playing sports and making it home in time to tuck him in for the night. But somehow, i manage. im 16 years old. i got a girl pregnant, not knowing about it till the day he was born. I was at a total loss, and didnt know where to go from there. i started takin care of him, then his mommy walked out on us when he turned one. its just me and my boy and my parents. I DONT REGRET HAVING HIM. HE'S THE LIGHT OF MY LIFE!. this song just says it all. i cry everytime i listen to it. being a daddy can be hard. but loving your kids is so easy. :). they are a major blessing.

my kids mom dumped me took the kids and then got with a loser that ended up haveing them taken away and put in foster care. i cant talk to them even though i am their father. but i still have to pay that child support every week. thank you wonderful state of NY. i love this song so much it reminds me of my dad all of the time and hwen he listens to it he crys to it cuz it reminds him of his dad....this song is very heart touching and it is ment for everyone that is a dad....good job

my dad is all i have left in my life now, he just turned 72 last month. i get peculiar feelings when something bad is about to happen and im getting this everytime i hug him now, i feel we dont have much time left 2gether and i know this probably sounds sooo selfish but im not ready yet, i need him, God cant take him yet, He took mom & we r still lost, plz God dont take him from me, i dont what i would do , u r the only 1 who listens to me cry and doesn't get mad about it, i still need you!!
