@HaackSaw666 Heals the same but if they use trick they will get hurt by it instead of healed because it only heals poison types. Problem is they can trick it back so yeah.

Dude, that Overheat really surprised me because it dealt so much damage. Then again, Monferno needs to deal heavy damage since it can't take a hit at all.

Anyway, not too much fancy stuff going on in this battle I think. Don't take me wrong, that's not a negative thing. Just saying.

Hopefully, we will see more Pelipper action because that thing is just awesome.

@grahamthesexykid if someone decides to use trick on you, they will receive your black sludge item, which will hurt any non-poison type pokemon. but leftovers would restore HP regardless.

This is a really great team - I'm just a little concerned about the lack of physical attackers. If Wiscash goes down, then I can see something like Clefable (or Blissey if you go OU with this) being a major problem if you can't Trick Espeon's Specs onto them.

On that note, I once ran a really similar Espeon set once, but I found HP Fire to generally be more useful than HP Ground. With HP Fire, Espeon can hit Bug types for awesome damage, as well as things like Skarmory.

@Feliciano151 I appreciate the comment! I don't intend to play any tier with this team except NU. Bug types are usually fragile, so Specs Psychic usually does the job. I'll have to at least consider HP Fire though, thanks for the input!

It does not heal more for Poison types. And as for thinking that they're just going to Trick it away to hurt something else, Trick users don't generally get it off more than once. And if they do, you normally have the crippled Poison type left to predict the Trick so you can switch in to take your Black Sludge back since odds are you switched it out due to being locked into something disadvantageous.

Hope that ends all this Black Sludge stuffs.
