  • This is kind of bad defense. There's .1 seconds left. Thanks to the Trent Tucker rule, you can't attempt a shot, only a tip. Why are there guys defending the perimeter at all? Should've clogged the lane and put a taller guy on the in bounds passer.

  • new york knicks = best buzzer beaters. hahaha

  • as they throw it out the baskeeEEEET OHHHH DAVID LEE, TIPS IT IN OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!

  • haha gus johnson exploding is the greatest

  • lol @ renaldo balkman

  • gus johnson haha

  • Awful defense, just pack the key for gods sake

  • Michael Jordan was having flashbacks of Trent Tucker again!

  • They should hire back Gus Johnson.

  • @elburro12345 No...they should hire back Marv Albert. But as long as Jim Dolan is running things, don't expect any smart business move to be made by the Knicks or Rangers.

  • @knickknack07 your joking right.. marv albert fucked the knicks.. they did him favors by keeping him for so long even after his multiple prostitution scandals.. and that was only just the tip of the iceberg!! you should read up on this shit before posting stupid ass comments.. and Gus Johnson left because he wanted to do more college games and was offered a hecka better contract.. and whats the point when you already go the best in the business with Mike Breen!!

  • @Wollakazoo That has to be a joke. You are literally the ONLY person who wouldn't want Marv Albert announcing for your team. How did Marv Albert "fuck the Knicks"? By behind HONEST about how crappy they were? That is what broadcasters are SUPPOSEd to do. Not sit there and say what a great game they played allowingthem to lose by 23 instead of 30.

Honestly..ask 1 million sports fans who the best sportscaster of all time is, and 999,998 of them will say Marv Albert.

  • @knickknack07 you serious.. I still remember when he was let go by MSG.. all of local sportstalk radio reiterated the same comment i made to you.. Albert abused his "power" and popularity..btw no he is in no way the best sportscaster of all time.. if anything he is the most made fun of sportscaster

  • @Wollakazoo You have no idea what you are talking about. NO ONE has ever said anything bad about Marv Albert. Know on who actually knows sports. Being HONEST and saying that your team sucks is not abusing your power.

Seriously...you HVE to be out of your mind if you think ANYONE took Jim Dolan's side in that. (And no, Mike Francesa doesn't count becuase he is a joke.)

  • @Wollakazoo By the way, just to prove that you have invented some fictional reality to live in because apparently the real world is not kind to you, simply click through to some of the sites here. NONE are critical of Marv Albert or are in favor of the firing. Because people who have gotten off their couches at some point in their lives (which you apparently have not) know you CAN'T tell fans that a team is playing well when the lose by 25 and basically quit after the 3rd quarter.

  • @Wollakazoo Here is the link. But sure...keep believing that NY fans WANT their announcers to tlak about how great a team that loses 50+ games a year is.

Simply Google the following term (without the parentheses) "jim dolan fire marv albert msg"

Honestly...I don't even understand how you could POSSIBLY say that man who has been in EXTREME demand for FORTY FOUR YEARS, calling every major sport, plus boxing, now on every network, is hated. You simply don't like on Planet Earth.

  • @knickknack07 lol.. you telling me i have no life.. when its you that actually takes the time to google and research this and reply to me multiple times.. and Mike Francesa doesn't count?? that proves how much you're dettached from the sports talk .. merry christmas.. and if u love marv so much go watch for your beloved nets

  • This is amazing. I love the way David Lee plays. i cant believe he never made over 40+. The d8 for this was december 20 2006.

  • New York Knicks are just blessed, i guess. LOL @ Jordan though. "Not this shit again!"

  • amazingly poor defense..ima knicks fan so hahahahaha

  • Best buzzer beater ever!

  • I'm a Knicks fan but I love Michael Jordan did u c michael jordan lol

  • lmao @ isiah walks off like "yea I called that shit..."

  • 0:32 it has to be a tip... as he throws it at the basket,, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! eeeeguuuutz!! Gotta love Gus johnson...

  • no chance the contact on the ball lasted less than .1 but ok nontheless

  • somebody please give Gus Johnson CPR. Too bad James Dolan and the brass at MSG decided to 86 G Money.

  • It woulda been funny if the Knicks already got on a plane to leave and they ruled it late...

  • Whatever happened to Lee? I didn't he would disappear just by going to the warriors.

  • best buzzer beater....EVER

  • 0:37

jesus the announcer sounds like hes getting a chainsaw straight to the sack

  • @ngskate888 that my friend is the legendary gus johnson

  • Whats with the dudes harassing MJ? Are you serious? I'm a Jazz fan, no MJ fan. But you have no right to even touch the man ;)

  • @ 1:36 lol ray felton...now a leader for the Knicks

  • jordan says thats bullshit!

  • 0:53 i love how jordan says to fans "bullshit" :D

  • at beginning announcer says "and that would be eddy curry" why would you give it to his fat ass lol

  • had to be 0.19

  • Michael Jordan was like, "Meh, I've seen better!" xD

  • Gus freaking Johnson

  • Eddy Curry @ 2:12 "Touch it, Dave"

  • D Fish's 0.4 was still better "IN MY OPINION"

  • then the next night was marburys game winner over utah

  • @S1RCHARL3S wrong. i was at both games. marbury's game winner was 1 or 2 days beforehand.

  • @S1RCHARL3S I am pretty sure Marbury's was first. But they were back to back.

  • @S1RCHARL3S, the next game was the infamous Melo brawl...I was at this game and tickets sold out the next game (Melo)...it used to be crazy cheap to go to the games then

  • 8 people are Bobcat fans, 1 is Michael Jordan downvoting.

  • IT COUNTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lol those two fans were harrassing Jordan

  • the knicks are idiots for trading him. Amare is NOT a good replacement for him for this simple reason. HE CAN'T REBOUND!!!!!!!!!

  • @dwadefan4lyfe2 hows this statement looking now? amare is a top-5 mvp candidate and getting tons of rebounds.

  • @delishadish i know lol when we started 3-8, i though amare was a waste of time. but i do think that we would've been better with amare and david lee

  • @delishadish If we had kept Lee, we would never have the cap space to get Melo next year...and we couldn't have signed Felton for this year. Fucking Toney Douglas as the PG this year? Please!!!

  • im gonna miss Gus Johnson..he was awesome man

  • @hypnoticluv oh wow. you're a BALTIMORE BULLET fan from the 1970's , right ?

  • from the back, it keeps looking like it hits the backboard.

  • OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *showers clyde*

  • 2:05, Ewing and Charles Oakley?

  • Michael Jordan is tight.

  • michael jordans like wtf

  • HAHA i love how the first person that hugs David Lee was some fan haha

  • @CoAcorruption The guy that hugged Lee was a trainer or something, not a fan.

  • NEW YORK LOVES YOU LEE

  • The one bright spot of a horrible decade, thank you D. Lee

  • I miss him already. But we did get Amare who is a better player then David Lee so it is all good.

  • First as a player with the Bulls in 1990 and with the Bobcats as a co-owner in this game! WOW!

  • Just how unlucky is Michael Jordan when the game is on the line with only 0.1 sec on the clock?

  • Good luck with the Warriors

  • someone give gus johnson a home studio and let him do any important game in any sport at any time. please

  • I'm wondering why they played man to man de when an alley tip-in was the only chance.

If all defender had stand near the basket it would have been nearly impossible to tip in-

    But an amazing win!!!

  • Bangin in the bay!!! Glad your on the Dubs now!

  • Can't wait to see him on the Warriors

  • this looks like it was filmed in the 80's early 90's

  • im going to miss david lee in a knicks jersey

  • goodbye david lee :(

  • At 0:45, you see the the Nets beat the Cavaliers. LMAO ! the irony.

  • haha

  • Actually the Knicks were in the playoff in 2004

  • Hmmm... You knicks fans can have this moment of satisfaction because you're losing lee , not getting lebron and you haven't been to the playoffs since 2001 I rest my case

  • i watched this live it was amazing

  • lol Michael Jordons probably like deja vu

  • haha jordan was like shittttttttttttttt

  • this was a crazy ass game

  • MJ is like"I don't care, do you know how many buzzer beaters I hit!" Haha MJ is the best.

  • Isiah was like "whatever. it wasnt that special" lol

  • lol won a game.

  • Gus is the best! I'd love to hear him do NBA games for TNT.

  • lol the announcer also said AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! IT COUNTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • epic win for the announcer AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

  • wat the hell the nets beat the cavs 113-111 haha

  • Not only is this a crazy great play, but Gus Johnson commentary is the greatest thing ever: "Now it has to be a tip....as they throw it AT THE BAAAAAAAAAASKEEEEEEEEET! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

    Epic win.

  • gus johnson yesss

  • this is why I love the Knicks

  • trent tucker shot didnt count, they gave him an extra second. it was .1 not 1.1

  • @slapshot68 @slapshot68 wrong and wrong. Trent Tuckers shot DID count, and they didn't give him an extra second. I remember that game vividly and the Knicks got that win. That is easily verifiable by going to basketballreference's web site and looking up the box sore from 1/15/90. As for the extra second, that is the whole point of the "Trent Tucker Rule"

  • NBA, Where David Lee Happens!

  • isiah thomas didnt give a sh.t

  • Again..to all you idiots...SHUT UP about "You can't get a shot in 0.1 seconds." The NBA says you can, and they make the rules. They allow it because the clock does not STOP at exactly the right moment either. So they allow for the reaction time of the time keeper to start it as well. Again..the refs know more about the rules than you. They are professionals who have studied the rules inside and out. They saw the replay. They are right. You are wrong.

  • @knickknack07 In addition i wanna say that the clock starts right after a player other than the one inbounding the ball is in possession of it or even touches is ! Hands down to D Lee - a hell of a tip in :)

  • simply awesome..

  • Holy shit dude, It almost looks like the Referee is hugging David lee at 44 seconds LOL.

  • lol thats the trainer.

  • u know the TNT all decade campaign. This should 've been in the regular season buzzer beater category.

Btw in the regular season posterization, there should've been lebron on duncan or on damon jones

  • the lakers need to get david lee

  • MSG Network needs to let Gus Johnson do the Knicks TV games regularly. Just saying.

  • he's the BEST! lol So entertaining funny

  • Roy's wasn't a tip in, it was a catch and shoot. If you want to count catch and shoots, then you'd have to go with the Trent Tucker shot that was the reason for the 0.3 second rule.

  • This was the start of the legend that is David Lee.

    2010 All-Star baby!!!

Oh and btw, Gus Johnson freaking rules

  • @imbobsaget legend????????? wtf

  • David Lee for All-Star!!!!!

    STFU haters!!!!

  • i'm really disappointed he's not voted to be an All-Star..he should have taken the spot of Horford in there...he can finish w/ both hands and i dont know if he's really left handed or right handed..but he should have been the Most Improve Player...

  • i think this is the greatest buzzer beater i've ever seen. d. lee should carry the knicks to the playoffs.****

  • search "david lee funniest technical"

  • there is no way any 0.1 shot can possibly count. the clock is suppose to start as soon as someone touches the ball... though they are cool shots to watch so you have to count them

  • @seltiknbawwe

It counts. .1 Seconds is enough for a tip in. Tapping the ball actually requires less time

  • @ashoka998

If you look at the replay the clock should have started earlier because in the replay he does have slight control of the ball in his hands. By the rules it should not have counted

  • @seltiknbawwe...All you show is that you are ignorant of the rules. The rules ALLOW for the reaction time of the time keeper. Why? Because if I had included more in the beginning, you would have seen that Marbury called for a time out and the whistle blew with about 0.4 seconds left. But the time keeper was slow to STOP the clock. Botom line...you are NOT more knowlegeable of hte rules than the refs. They watched the reply. They are right, you are wrong. Get over yourself.

  • LOL The refs?!?! haha oh man. The NBA officials are horrible they only counted it because it was in New York and was a ridiculous shot. The Buzzer should have gone as soon as she laid hands on the ball, the time keeper themselves are idiots. ALA Cleveland and Denver a few weeks ago when the buzzer went before Zydrunas even touched the ball from the inbounds pass.

  • I have three Words for you: Gus FREAKING Johnson!

  • worst bobcat lost i ever seen that was such a heart breaker

  • the ball must have been in his hand for more then .1 of a second. the clock didnt start at the right moment.

  • everytime...

    its just like that..

    its not the players fault...

  • it NEVER starts at exactly the right moment. IT also never STOPS at exactly the right moment. The rules allow for that since no human timekeepr could possibly hit the start/stop button at the exact same time. As I said to others...you are NOT smarter than the NBA refs. They looked at the replay. Somehow I think I will trust THEIR judgement over yours.

  • Woww. In front of MJ and Pat Ewing? LEGENDARY. XD

  • good point that was a nice pass

  • OWNED!

  • my team shot it with 0.2 left and it was good but they didnt call it. that was BS it is possible to score with 0.1 left

  • credits to Crawford for the pass

  • was this game already 3 years ago? feels like it was just a months since we saw it on highlight shows

  • Wasnt this game on a previous Christmas?

  • OMG! What does Gus Johnson even say?!?!?! He sounded like he was dying, LOL listen from about 0:38 to 0:43!! I LOVE GUS JOHNSON!!

  • nope...

    it was the fans...

    intensity.. :DD

  • The Blood play of the game!

  • as they throw is at the baskeeeEEEEEEEET AHHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHAHHHHHHOHHA!!!

  • i remember watching this.. i shat bricks because ive always had no hope for the knicks

  • Great play by lee but the pass was set up by jamal crawford

  • even so, its EXTREMELY hard to tip the ball in off an alley-oop pass. but still a good pass

  • no one ever mentions what a beautiful pass this was from jamal crawford

  • everytime i ever go to a bball game it's always a blowout, i wanna see a close game down to the buzzer like this

  • I FUCKING LOVE GUS JOHNSON

  • Why the hell the other guys was on Jordan's face... Man... Jordan can even do this in his sleep all night long..

  • Because MJ is a part-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats...

  • Wat a great pass to David Lee....

Gus Johnson is the f--king best announcer for any event... Imagine him doing Golf... LOL.... Tiger wit the long putt from the corner... HAHA....Its good!!!!

  • MSG network needs to let Gus Johnson do more Knicks games on TV.

  • @htownplayer2k7 Mike Breen is better, although i would rather have gus johnson subbing for him than kenny albert

  • hahaha gus johnsons voice after the shot is incredible...i remember watching this game....the exact next game was stephon marbury's buzzer beater layup agaisnt the jazz

  • gus johnson sounds like he just exploded on the scene lol

  • Gus Johnson with the orgasm on the call!

  • wow the knicks accomplished somthing...

  • So what .....its the past ....the knicks lose games. But do you think the team your rooting for never lost? 10 years ago they must of SUCK

  • Damn, we would have made the playoffs that year, if it wasnt for injuries.

  • Without Isiah, Knicks would have lost that game.

  • hahahah jordan was like...nigga please, get off me

  • KNICKS fans add me

    NBA fans add me

  • i was at that game

  • Comment removed

  • come to OLYMPIAKOS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • NO!!! STAY WITH THE KNICKS!!

  • FUCK NO!!!

  • david lee and nate robinson r the 2 best players on the team

  • Both of them they will come to Olympiakos!!!Come to biggest team in Europe!!!

  • No they wont.

  • Agreed.

  • Comment removed

  • rockets need lee more than anyone else

  • i hope the Knicks resign David Lee.

  • dude, i hope to fucking god they sign him. i understand that the knicks are trying to free some cap space and what not to get a star in 2010 (Lebron, Wade, etc.) but come on this season is gonna be a fucking joke.

  • best play in Knicks history

  • That's right son...David Lee soon'll be a Raptor baby ;)

  • Well, at this point, it doesn't look like the Raptors are going to get Lee, since they appear to have landed Turkoglu. In order to get Lee, the Raptors are going to have to do a sign and trade involving a major asset, such as Bosh or Bargs. Now that they have Turkoglu to add some scoring and playmaking, I think it might be wise to trade Bosh for Lee. The Raps have no guarantee Bosh will come back next season. A front court of Turkoglu, Lee, and Bargs would still be pretty solid.

  • love the taunting of MJ

  • How can you love that?

This happened 8 years after Jordan had any impact. He never played for either team. He did torture you stupid Knick fans, but winning 25 games a season and having one good buzzer beater not even against his old team does not warrant trash talking to the greatest basketball player of all time.

Knick fans are just idiots. All MJ had to turn and say is "55"

  • Uhhh I'm a Celtics fan, the idea of ordinary Knicks fan taunting the greatest player of all time is funny if you have a sense of humor

  • Yeah, its funny because of insanely stupid it makes them look.

Either way though, I enjoy stupid knick fans far greater than I enjoy even the slightest mention of idiotic celtic fans...

  • Its not official that Michael Jordan was the greatest player of all time. For all we know in about another 5 years Lebron James could be one or kobe or Dwight Howard. Sure Mj was the greatest player of THAT TIME. ( No dis respect to MJ Thought)

All just to say im a proud Knicks fan.

  • Wow. At first I thought you might have a legitimate argument, if you had used names such as Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, but no, being the stupid Knicks fan you are, you used Bryant, James and HOWARD.

Keep rooting for one currently one of the worst franchises. David Lee will certainly take you guys to the promise land.

  • yep he will. wont he

  • yeah, LRygh...because NO ONE in the present game could possibly qualifiy as the greatest ever! Gotcha! You are just an old man who thinks that YOUR generation was hte4 best at everything. Which is a good indication of how much credibility we should give you when it comes to an intelligent discussion of sports. And the proper amount of credibility to give you is ZERO.

  • Hey, world class moron, why Knick fans got to be idiots? So what the team suck.....maybe you should let go of Jordan's dick....

  • i hope they dont trade david lee..

  • agreed. but they have a penchant for trading players that are doing good. I hope they keep Lee tho.
