  • 1:19: u can see if a person is a pro or not by seeing how smooth he puts his lens on.

  • Please keep up the video. Thank you sooo much. Best videos so far

  • Where did you get that t-shirt?

  • Im so envious :) Amazing kit. Loved the 400mm 2.8VR lens. Nice guy too.

  • Out of all the gears, his shirt is the BEST!

  • It looks like this was shot with a Canon

  • AWESOME is all I can say Jasin... magic to see you have a D90 (I am reaching to one soon I hope)

Great insight to what you use mate

    Cheers

    Wazza

  • i want to have d90 co'z i always hear good about it!!!!!!!

  • @bonakjvg Go for the D7000!! :D

  • It makes me happy every time somone compliments the D90, realising I made a good choice for my first dslr

  • did Nikon made a Nano-crystal 50mm 1.4G lens just for Jasin Boland? XDD

  • @holockcreateinc well we all make mistakes but I am sure they would if we asked...

  • wow!!! I love those t-shirts. wish I have one

  • Inside a Pro's Photography Kit... any big news... basically, just pro lens -.-

  • @DrSheldonCooper I love Big Bang, yeah it is pretty much just lenses and bodies but I guess thats what it's all about, I have some new lenses in the arsenal, the awesome 200-400 vr, the 24 1.4 and new favourite all rounder the 24-120 constant 4.

  • @DrSheldonCooper

I would agree its more expensive lenses however the title was what is in a pro photographers kit

  • I want the Nikon 28mm f/1.4 AF-D, but $4000 is mind-bogglingly expensive!

  • @TomHallPhotography hi Tom great to hear from you again.Have you looked at the 24 1.4 it's nano and is half the price...

  • shit hearing photographers showing their gear is like porn

  • Like I said Gibson that 400 2.8 is one sweet piece of glass.

Just got the 200-400 for a film I am on in ol Euroland. Cant wait to take her out for a play.

    Thanks for watching!

  • @Gibson2471 haha I agree...

  • @jasin: well it melts me too man! super sweet piece of glass... still considering myself a newbie though... hope i can do work like what yours!

  • Rick it's all about creating your environment.

I am a very lucky guy to have the job I do!

  • @ricksonf thanks Rick, I'm not that flash at it I just think I use m eyes to capture what I see, I don't see the light in landscapes that some of the guys do and wish I could.

  • 400 whoah!!!!!

  • Rick tell me about it, she is one sweet piece of glass and every time I get her out I just melt!

  • Speechless!!!

If i had that kind of equipment i would do damage!!

    :/// ..i want a D3x :((

  • Seriously 1r you don't need my kit to shoot good, there are plenty out there doing better than I can on a d90 and a 24-120...

Flick me a link to your work.

  • That 400mm is FREAKING HUGE.

  • Hey iam 12 and i really like photography and i want to be a pro photographer when i grow up can you give me some tips on how i can get there?

  • @gta1172 Hey Buddy thanks heaps for your question, well first up you gotta be good to your parents so they can get you a sweet little Nikon.

The other thing and I am quite serious about this, you and your camera need to be really good friends, go everywhere together!

Experiment with all the functions and develop a style.

Start with photographing things that you are interested in.

Not enough room here so please feel free to email me and good luck.

And be patient good things come to those who wait

  • @jasin007 i have already got a camera a little Pentax K-X

  • @gta1172 Which, incidentally, uses the same sensor as the D90.

  • @jasin007 Opps, thanks for your info and tips :)

  • @jasin007 Hi Jasin i do agree with your last comment ..... All good things come to those who wait. Appart from my beautiful wife my little baby ( D300 ) goes absoluetly everywhere ( inc on my back trailbike riding). I have found that it is the best "TOY" in my toy box..... I just love it!

PS GRRREAT insight into a true pro's setup... thanks so much for posting.

  • That D300 can get smacked around on the back of a bike all day long.

What lens do you take out with you when you ride?

  • I am currently sporting a 70-200 2.8 tamron (the best i could afford at the time) however i am aiming for something a lot better in the near future. I love shooting motocross and any high action sports, actually i just love shooting for anyone who appreciates the images created.

I am currently trying as hard as i can to be acknowledged in the photography industry and would do almost anything to get even a look in the door. If you need or could use an assistant i would love to help out.

  • I've always wondered how photographers got their shots on set while the actors were being filmed. It was great to see the device he uses and how it works.

  • Where can I get that shirt!!!! If anyone knows, please message me!

  • Hey BB, right back at ya, thats all I aspire to so thanks it means a great deal.

    Cheers,

    Jasin.

  • Respect! i wanna have that kinda rep one day!

  • Great T-Shirt :)

  • Hi DK thanks for the interest, the HPRC hard cases which are awesome by the way are 2700, I also have the 2700w which has wheels!

Take a look at HPRc's site for more amazing products, 25% lighter and stronger than the opposition, great for cutting down on excess baggage!

  • Great Kit... Quick question what are the model numbers of the HPRC's and what style of cart do you use to transport the cases???

  • I have a questiion about the 50mm 1.4G (it sounded like he said J?) lens being Nano Crystal. I thought it wasn't a N lens? Can anybody help me out?

  • Great lenses and equipment Jasin! Love the shirt too.

  • Hey thanks, Mr Boland!

i love your work! I saw you at the Photography show last year at Darling Harbour... I love your Matrix shots- very very cool... so much so, a few years ago I bought the box set of The Matrix- in it, includes some photos and a piece of film... though, I don't see your name on them, I can only assume you shot them? If so, THAT is awesome!!! :)

By the way, thanks for sharing this vid... really cool :)

  • Man... awesome gear!

I will be getting my HPRC 2550 case- hopefully in a few weeks... can't wait!

Indeed, I can only dream to have all that gear!

  • Mr J, the 2550 is an awesome piece of kit plus you can take the insert out and use it as an overnight!

Thanks for watching, I think we need an update as there is kinda a heap more gear now. Enjoy your shooting buddy! And thanks to everyone else that has watched too, I don't get on here often so sorry for the late replies...

    Cheers,

    Jasin.

  • i can only dream of having some of those lens' one day for my studio/personal use...i cant wait!!!

  • I'm sure he do not fly anything other then private. Nice collection I'll be there soon.

  • WOW

  • *tear*

  • *drools*

  • Jasin,

Great video. Can you take the HPRC 2700 cases as carry on luggage on planes?

    Javier

  • I don't know for sure... but they look way too big to use as a carry on. But... depending on the airline, I've seen people get away with some pretty big garment bags as a carry on.

  • I love the T-shirt :D

  • Holy Crap!

  • W00t!
