I always hear people say they got whatever for no reason. There is a reason when that stuff happens. This happened tio me on August 21, 2009. The shitty out of control police tasered me after I'd been a victim of severe assault and had 9 staples put in my skull. I did nothing wrong. All police in this city/state are out of control. They need to be stopped. The police knew I'd been assaulted and that I was already severely disabled. We are in a crazy world.

FYI- the official police report has him arrested for 'resisting arrest' (cus they had to charge him with something since they tazed him and he was not intoxicated.) He is pressing charges against the arresting officers, as he was injured in the incident and has ongoing medical treatment.

Just got off the phone with a friend hiway patrolman in MI. We talked about tasers and video. He said one of three things are happening.
1. No Video
2. If they have video, it must be disclosed during the arrest, and accounted for after, it's a public record.
3. If they have video, and have not disclosed such, they are adjusting it as we speak, deleting anything that would nail them. Which in turn, makes the whole thing worthless, just like they would want.

Third off he did nothing wrong in which he should have been arrested for. The cops accused him of arguing with the women, he said no, and asked for an apology, that is when the cops flipped and asked him to put his hands behind his back, which he can't cuz he is crippled, so they tasered him. That is what happened for those of you who didn't know! i don't care if the video shows it or not! so all you idiots out there that think he deserved to be tased, i hope you all get tasered for breathing!
The situation is is that the cops said they thought he was arguing with a women, and shaking his arm. First off his arm shakes uncontrollably sometimes, something he can't help! Second the cops drove by twice while he was outside with the women, if they thought they were agruing he should have stopped the first time if not the second time he drove by, and not wait until the women went inside!! right there the cop was in the wrong.

talking to and yelling at are definately two different things. I cant hear anyone talking a block and a half away, can you?? Maybe I heard the call to the cops on my scanner so that I heard that there was a 911 called in as to a fight on main street. Maybe more of us heard the same call so there would me as many witnesses to the call for stopping.

I've read in the article about tazers that they have a camera to document the whole thing. I guess the truth is in the video and until that is made public you can say what you want to say and write what you want to write, but the truth is yet to come. Like all crooked cops, if there was such a video, it would be amazingly gone from the records, the dirty cops stating the have no idea why it didn't work. Well lets see do you have the facts and were you there NO as well as I wasn't there either but I have heard from numerous people and one really reliable source...that he was outside TALKING to this person and him and this other person had watched the cop drive around 3 times and when he got ready to leave he stopped him and said what were you doing fighting with that person and then it all broke out. So you explain that to me..it's not safe anymore I guess to be outside TALKING to someone.

If I remember correctly, the officers grabbed this drunken idiots good arm. The reason people get tazed, is so officer's don't get hurt wrestling drunk people. The word that I have heard is that he wasn't drunk and a breathalizer was ordered at the hospital and he blew way under. Again this is hear say but maybe you should get the facts before you start the name calling and allegations.
Never said he had to be drunk but from what I have heard he answered the cops question and that is when the cop got pissed and I could reveal but I think if we all live here in this town or near by we all know who the cops were in the picture but he got pissed and that is when he got tased because he was answering the cop. They all think they are high and mighty. I thought they were supposed to protect the community but how was this person a threat to the community? He wasn't shooting anyone.

lots of witnesses at the bar are going to be pretty powerful versus a video that probably shows the lack of real action like this video does. most of the controversy in all our arguments revolve around what the person was doing before the cops got there and what made them stop and what made them draw the taser in the first place. all the arguing is about issues that occurred before the camera and taser began shooting. it's not like they drew their taser and held it very long before using it.
The video probably shows more than you think..... Comabative means the willingness to fight or contend.... I'm sure sure Justin did nothing of the sort...right??? i understand what you're saying. again, you fail to actually try to understand what i'm saying. we're arguing mostly about what the events were BEFORE the cops arrived, what CAUSED the cops to stop, and then what led up to use of the taser. during all of these events, the taser was likely in the holster, thus, the video wasn't running. they don't just walk around with taser's drawn. i researched the x-26 online too-BFD, it gives video. i'm glad you're confident in it. that's good for you.

No, the 911 call means someone was concerned out someone else's well-being. And also, every single 911 call is probably responded to by a city cop or officer.....even if its a 911 hang up... The purpose of 911 is for emergency purposes, someone thought this was an emergency and called it in. It is a great call..... a great call on the part of the reporting person for calling it in.. I am from New Hampton, and I know this guy, he is crippled from being shot is the head during a hunting accident!! Whether or not this video shows him being tasered, the cops said it all! Them saying that he was resisting arrest is the plain fact that he could not put his arm behind his back because he is crippled!!! The cops had no right to taser him, I am sure that they injured him by forcing his arm back like that.

first, you weren't there b/c you said in one of your first emails you weren't. secondly, there are approximately 15 people from the bar that night that have come forth with statements of support, all confirming what really happened. Well, I think you're an idiot, but that's just my opinion. The cops here made a bad judgement call. If I can't ask a police officer for an apology when their wrong without being accused and tasered, then it's abuse. Like I stated before, everyone has larceny in them, and a badge can lower that level of larceny when the wrong person is carrying it.

well, not too far from there, many years ago did one small town population hired it's first full-time police officer. He wasn't this mean, but easily just as stupid.
the time came when someone stole his car's emergency lights. they were never found and he left soon after.

he was outside smoking a cigarette TALKING with a friend and the cops pulled up saying that they heard them arguing from their car. then tasered him because he was "grossly intoxicated". he tested well under the legal limit. lots of inconsistencies with how they handled things. never explained a thing they were doing to him. then, they tried to force his crippled arm behind his back and when it wouldn't go, they accused him of resisting arrest. just sad. like i said - abuse.

"For No Reason", as if I haven't heard that before. Some of the B.S. people say because thay were tazed, sprayed with OC, or the ones that get shot with a .40 Glock. I always hear people say they got whatever for no reason. There is a reason when that stuff happens. Just another case of someone not wanting to believe it, or take responsibility for their own actions. I'll bet if everything was on the recording it would show why the taser was used. This happened tio me on August 21, 2009. The shitty out of control police tasered me after I'd been a victim of severe assault and had 9 staples put in my skull. I did nothing wrong. All police in this city/state are out of control. They need to be stopped. The police knew I'd been assaulted and that I was already severely disabled. We are in a crazy world.

FYI- the official police report has him arrested for 'resisting arrest' (cus they had to charge him with something since they tazed him and he was not intoxicated.) He is pressing charges against the arresting officers, as he was injured in the incident and has ongoing medical treatment.

Here are some FACTS...vollyff has stated his moniker meant volley ball for fun, but as one of his fav video saves, it was about firefighting, a simple lie to cover who he is, and he erased the fav vid last night when I brought it up. Just got off the phone with a friend hiway patrolman in MI. We talked about tasers and video. He said one of three things are happening.
1. No Video
2. If they have video, it must be disclosed during the arrest, and accounted for after, it's a public record.
3. If they have video, and have not disclosed such, they are adjusting it as we speak, deleting anything that would nail them. Which in turn, makes the whole thing worthless, just like they would want.

Third off he did nothing wrong in which he should have been arrested for. The cops accused him of arguing with the women, he said no, and asked for an apology, that is when the cops flipped and asked him to put his hands behind his back, which he can't cuz he is crippled, so they tasered him. The situation is is that the cops said they thought he was arguing with a women, and shaking his arm. First off his arm shakes uncontrollably sometimes, something he can't help! Second the cops drove by twice while he was outside with the women, if they thought they were agruing he should have stopped the first time if not the second time he drove by, and not wait until the women went inside!! right there the cop was in the wrong.

lots of witnesses at the bar are going to be pretty powerful versus a video that probably shows the lack of real action like this video does. most of the controversy in all our arguments revolve around what the person was doing before the cops got there and what made them stop and what made them draw the taser in the first place. all the arguing is about issues that occurred before the camera and taser began shooting. it's not like they drew their taser and held it very long before using it.

i understand what you're saying. again, you fail to actually try to understand what i'm saying. we're arguing mostly about what the events were BEFORE the cops arrived, what CAUSED the cops to stop, and then what led up to use of the taser. during all of these events, the taser was likely in the holster, thus, the video wasn't running. they don't just walk around with taser's drawn. i researched the x-26 online too-BFD, it gives video. i'm glad you're confident in it. that's good for you.

No, the 911 call means someone was concerned out someone else's well-being. And also, every single 911 call is probably responded to by a city cop or officer.....even if its a 911 hang up... The purpose of 911 is for emergency purposes, someone thought this was an emergency and called it in. It is a great call..... a great call on the part of the reporting person for calling it in.. hey jpjc - these "people" (and i use that term loosely) are just doing these things to get a response from the good people involved here and are trying to intimidate like they usually do. we need to realize that their maturity level lies well below that of your basic 1st grader (if even that high) and that nothing will come from their impotent attempts. if they are truly COPS like you have hinted, they are failing to serve the community and have to come to serve only themselves. disappointing.

All I can say about this is that I am ashamed to say I live in this town. Take a look at the New Hampton Tribune issues on August 1, 2008 and read the article about the Tasers that are supposed to be used for DANGEROUS, COMBATIBLE, or HIGH RISK subjects and then try and tell me how this person was one of the above mentioned. WAY TO GO NEW HAMPTON AND CHICKASAW COUNTY another one to write down in the books, another one to say ooopsss we F'd up AGAIN. Seems to be a revolving circle with you guys.

if you were from new hampton vollyff then you would realize that what actually happened, is not that unbelievable. the cops, actually the sheriff's (the ones in brown)have a reputation for going to far, this is NOT the first time, and i'm sure if something isn't done to them this time, then it won't be the last time neither!! Some nh cops are ok, but i don't trust the sheriff's at all!

just in this instance we are blaming the cops vollyff. cops serve a vital function and not in every instance are they wrong. i deal with aspects of this incident every day and assure you i am way closer to the inner workings of this than you. we can agree to disagree on this instance. obviously emotions are running high with this, so arguing is counter-productive. it is what it is, bottom line. take care.

it felt great yesterday actually realizing what kind of person i was dealing with while arguing with vollyff and realizing what a waste of time it was. also, realizing that he was just doing all of this to get a response was a relief. look back at the beginning - he claimed to know nothing about the situation and now claims to know so much. i am so happy i am not arguing with him anymore and wasting my time. it IS funny to watch him make a fool of himself several times per day.

I am from New Hampton, and I know this guy, he is crippled from being shot is the head during a hunting accident!! Whether or not this video shows him being tasered, the cops said it all! Them saying that he was resisting arrest is the plain fact that he could not put his arm behind his back because he is crippled!!! The cops had no right to taser him, I am sure that they injured him by forcing his arm back like that.

vollyff - yes, this is still going on and we were happy with your absence. no, it doesn't mean that he is free from getting arrested, but when a disabled arm won't go the way it is being forced, it DOES NOT mean that the person is resisting arrest as the police accused him of being. pathetic that the cops in this small town are so stupid that they can't discern that a person has a physical handicap makes me wonder what their abilities are at all. well, we know they can taser the innocent.

seriously, what is your problem with me? Whats pathetic is using this guys disabled arm as an excuse to target the cops. I'm pretty certain he resisted arrest in more ways than just not being able to bend his arm. and by what the video shows, NO ARM IS BEING FORCED. At the start of video his left arm is behind his back NOT cuffed. At 7 seconds he is cuffed and no where do I see it being forced. What happened before the video was shot is a "he said, she said". If you don't like the cops, move.

first, you weren't there b/c you said in one of your first emails you weren't. secondly, there are approximately 15 people from the bar that night that have come forth with statements of support, all confirming what really happened. Third, if you WERE there or knew anything about the victim or the situation, then you really wouldnt be saying what you have been saying. lastly, i can't convince someone who refuses to want to know the truth. this has now become a waste of my time.

Well, I think you're an idiot, but that's just my opinion. The cops here made a bad judgement call. If I can't ask a police officer for an apology when their wrong without being accused and tasered, then it's abuse. Like I stated before, everyone has larceny in them, and a badge can lower that level of larceny when the wrong person is carrying it.

I have read every posting, and not one stated this video showed more then what it is. These cops got out of control, wanted to test their tasers, and found a cheap reason. Besides, the cop that tasered Justin, from what I understand, is involved in a nasty divorce, stressed, and used his badge for the wrong reason.

I live in this town, I heard about it right after it happend, The bartender at McShannys was so upset she could barley tell us what had happened,Many others say what happened as well, This is horriable, I dont care what anyone says,almost everyone in this town knows who this man is and what happend to him yrs ago, the cops are getting head trips because they got the tassers, so what should everyone be afraid of the cops? well, not too far from there, many years ago did one small town population hired it's first full-time police officer. He wasn't this mean, but easily just as stupid.
the time came when someone stole his car's emergency lights. they were never found and he left soon after.
it's painfully clear to me that these cops need something to do. todays kids, they worry me. No fight in em at all.
Then again, back then the cops didn't have thermal imaging (thanks Homeland Security!) and tasers.

again, as i stated a few times before - the impropriety occurred before the video was begun. it comes down to misinterpretation of the scene and improper use of force. not saying the this video showed brutality - the issue was, there was no cause for it. if one wasn't there, no one would believe it. the guy got tasered, so there must have been a reason is what you are saying huh - just keep an open mind - the cops are human too and they make mistakes, eventhough they don't like to admit it.

he was outside smoking a cigarette TALKING with a friend and the cops pulled up saying that they heard them arguing from their car. then tasered him because he was "grossly intoxicated". he tested well under the legal limit. lots of inconsistencies with how they handled things. never explained a thing they were doing to him. then, they tried to force his crippled arm behind his back and when it wouldn't go, they accused him of resisting arrest. just sad. like i said - abuse.
