  • is this true? :))) hahhah! 是真的假的?!

  • i was sad. and then i watched this ad and it made me smile.

  • Actually there's been some cases of thinkpads survivng 200 degrees celsius in an over, when an officer hid his laptop in the oven in case of robbery. The CD drive malfunctioned though.

Thinkpads are like armored veichles - They'll take some, but not alot.

  • xD

  • i still wouldnt put it into the oven. lol

  • @hieuepu90 Well, seem like im the only understand what you said

    LOL

  • @zSuperCrazyz really ? i'm come from vietnam, that you don't understan is agree

  • было б это правдой... а так...

  • now we know that the lenovo's notebook turn our grannys in a crazy granny hahahaha;.

  • Fake!!

I don't think it's resistant to water or heat

  • @3mmoori1 I don't know about heat. But it does have drain holes, so to some extent it is resistant to water

  • yo con lenovoooo

  • Oh.... my hearth ;-D

  • 101

  • Last time I checked, this wasn't a political forum. Enjoy the technology for what it is, don't go ruining the party for the rest of us Lenovo fans.

  • nice. when i buy a lenovo i will do that to but when it become broken i will refund it to the store

  • what kind of grandma would do that?!

  • lol

  • To je bez chyby...

  • is this trur?coz nextwik my new lenovo 15inch corei5 will be delivered..damn lenovo is high quallity..

  • @gbenifits1968 Lenovo is low quallity

  • this hurts to watch :(

  • LOL she thought the pc was a cutting board and it survived

  • is that a real lenovo? if so, which model?

  • I live in a lenovo family :D me dad´s got a thinkpad and i´ve got a g550....not to sure I should try out doing a pizza on it :-/

    hilarious video

  • @Terrystearsatlfc Lenovo sucks

  • @DoReMiForever nah..

  • @Terrystearsatlfc old IBM Thinkpad's rule

Fuck the new ones by Lenovo

  • BraVOOO~~~

Nice Proof. I just lovin' it.

  • IT JUST WORKS

  • Lol, it's grandma proof

  • is this for real? LoL so can that laptop go through all that? because if this ad is legit it's kinda misleading and that's kinda illegal.

  • @bv90andy it's not misleading, it can withstand 10 times more than what's shown here. Lenovos have survived house fires and being dropped into lakes.

  • @edwardqiu I have an IBM Thinkpad that survived 10 years in a wagon in my garage where the temperature sometimes went as low as -10F and up to 90F, just opened it up a few months ago, screen works and keyboard works, has Windows 95 installed and can read/write floppies and read cd's just fine. No errors, no dead battery, no nothing. WOW.

  • @retronuggetdev That is very impressive. Nice machine.

  • @retronuggetdev 90F is like 30C that's not that bad. I play on my pc in the summer at 40C. and low temp does not affect pc's,even if it's in use, as long as it's not condensing.

  • @bv90andy yeah Lenovo's are illegal. let us report them to the police and then smash all Lenovo's!

    IBM Forever

  • @DoReMiForever as long as they don't have ANY plastic parts, than yea I guess you could put it in an oven at 200*C but the screen contains plastic and the liquid cristal would dilate at that temp. So that's why I wouldn't believe it. But hey maybe they use new technologies.

And I was saying that misleading commercials are illegal. :P

  • @bv90andy well I just hate new thinkpads I mean from 2005-2010 thats made by Lenovo

IBM Thinkpad's from the 90's and early 00's are best

  • @DoReMiForever No, the Chinese Lenovo bought IBM's permission to produce Thinkpads and some-other products. Because IBM wasn't making any money out of Thinkpad. Lenovo started off with the product name IBM before using Lenovo on Thinkpads. So Thinkpads were being produces by Lenovo since around 2003 or 2004

  • @wuyunchi I still hate LeNOvo

  • @DoReMiForever They are just well designed PC. But it's your personal opinion. Is that because it's Chinese and Chinese are killing too many Tibetan and Uighur?

  • @wuyunchi I hate LeNOvo for they breaks down all the time and are not well made like the original IBM Thinkpads

and yes it sucks that LeNOvo is Chinese

and I dislike the Lenovo Logo

    IBM Logo is better

I have a IBM Thinkpad T22 from 2000 with Windows 2000 works fine

  • @DoReMiForever Really, the Lenovo I used were good, I never had any problems with my Lenovo. I agree that Thinkpad was better made by IBM! There were Chinese expert saying that CPU Socket from Lenovo was poorly build to compare to IBM. Chinese got problem with they attitude during work. I visited a Chinese state owned nuclear pressurized cylinder manufacture company. People were smoking and playing cell phone. At lunch time, people went drinking or sleeping! Nothing like Japanese!

  • @wuyunchi dude....ibm was made by chinese in the past....way back in time before they were acquired....seriously, live without the chinese and i'd love to see your state of being in 3 month.

  • @DoReMiForever Le"NO"vo HAHA

  • @DoReMiForever Actually I know why you hate Chinese, because your ID DoReMiForever in Chinese means Fuck Me More Forever.

  • AWW! I love old people!

  • idiot old lady

  • LOL Lenovo...

  • so funny, nice commercial

  • That might partly be real.

Lenovo thinkads hit at stock configuration military rugged standards regarding temperature (up to 140 degrees celsius), shock, dust and humidity tolerance.

    So go for it ;-)

  • Puh!

  • Cool Ad! (although it's kinda exaggerating)and I wanna eat that pizza!

  • @mojalove Read edwardqiu's comment

  • i doubt its true

  • Not that the screen images at the end are real...

  • omfg

  • Very good pizza !!

  • muy gracioso

  • OMG! LOL!

  • jajajajaja buenisimo video

    me iso reir bastante xD

  • can it really survive the oven? u no if I had money i wud buuy it, try it, n if it does'nt work, sue for misinformation lol

  • Well, they will probably ask you for how long did you have it in the oven and then say the add only shows the laptop in the over for 5 seconds LOL

  • ah smart man, well i'll just do it for 5 seconds but i'll make sure the oven is really hot lol

  • But they made a pizza in the time from when they put it in, to they took it out.. So either they lie about the pizza, or the laptop!

AND I'M NOT SURE WHATS WORST!

  • Either way if i had money 2 try tht i'd b makin a lot more money LOL cuz if the oven dont kill the laptop the sink n the hammer will lmao

  • Would you really watch 30 minutes of a grandma making pizza?! It's a commercial!!

  • u are not smart person.....its an ad u know.....

  • You could try it, and it probably would survive all that shown in the ad. Since it meets strict military standards and has survive house fires before.

  • jajajaja,

  • its alien technology i tell you!!!!

  • its really water proof?

  • @jacobbobcorn No, it might survive about water spill, but as far as I know, no home-pc are ever water proof or going to be water proof, I mean who is going to use a laptop under the water?

  • thinkpad is awesome!!

I'm using it and I luv it!!!

  • my 3 months old lenovo t61p stopped botting for unknown reason...

  • at least it weighs 10 pounds. there are some lunatic thinkpad repair guys. you ship to them, they fix it. sorry to hear your news. I'm on second T series. very very very very happy with machine. please, just fix it and move on. PS I bought second hand and installed brand new harddrive. so the drive is new and the machine works well. I sure use it a lot. Good luck.

  • Lol that must be a very reliable computer.

(of course it wouldn't have survived the baking unless the grandma forgot to turn the oven on but, eh)

  • es buenisimo, me hizo reir mucho, obviamente no es real!!! pero por lo menos ya relaciono resistencia con Lenovo

  • Bull shit

banking it would cause the battery to blew up

Some should Sue IBM for False Marketing

  • fuck yea great idea!

  • @Silverwolfstarz Have u every use a ThinkPad? I accidentally dropped it about 2 feet from the floor..the laptop's hard drive paused for a few seconds --> then resumes to run smoothly as before LOL

  • @Silverwolfstarz a.) It`s LENOVO, not IBM, and b.) no it wouldn't, people actually have done tests to prove Lenovo's durability.

  • Lenovo and IBM are the same company idiot

Lenovo is in china, IBM is here

  • @shalpp you are so stupid. IBM is IBM, Lenovo is Lenovo. Lenovo is Lenovo here, Lenovo is Lenovo in China, same with IBM. Lenovo does not have 2 different names, and is definitely not IBM. They are NOT the same company, seriously, do some simple research before you talk.

  • How am I stupid?

IBM had the ThinkPad name for a couple of years here, then Lenovo started selling them with IBM's permission

  • @shalpp No, they bought the Thinkpad line and they own it. IBM has nothing to do with Thinkpads anymore, Lenovo is in charge of everything, and they don't need IBM's permission to sell Thinkpads.

  • @edwardqiu No, the Chinese Lenovo bought IBM's permission to produce Thinkpads and some-other products.

  • @shalpp Yeah, Lenovo bought the Thinkpad line. IBM is no longer involved with Thinkpads at all now...

  • @retronuggetdev thats why Lenovo sucks!

  • @shalpp No, the Chinese Lenovo bought IBM's permission to produce Thinkpads and some-other products.

  • @edwardqiu I hate Lenovo's

  • @Silverwolfstarz no. you mean someone should sue Lenovo

  • The washing, sure; it's possible. The baking, no. Just, no.

  • Awesomely adorable ad!!! love it!!! ssooo cute!!

  • good

  • ^^ How silly! This adv deserves a few giggles since cooking a pizza on a laptop is just too peculiar!

  • I accidentally spilled a cup of water on my T41 keyboard and it STILL worked. Okay I turned it off right away, but I let it dry out for 24 hours and it still worked!!! :D

  • i have one lenovo!!! But hopefully don't one grandma like this!:)

No mentira

  • lol, thats a fabulous ad!

    awsome!

  • is this real? can this laptop do that?

  • That's not the question you must ask.

You have to ask "Can a grandma do that?!?!?!"

  • ooooooooo thats tru.

my grandma does XD srry but my english suck

  • try, i think baking is too much :D

  • I asked the same question when I first saw this ad... but I doubt it :S, especially for the oven part - I think it's gone too far!!!

  • haha....maybe not the washing and definetely nnot the baking...that would melt the plasti components and will probably deform the metal too lol

  • Nah just the baking, lenovos are spill resistant. =]
