@pup101 umm actually they don't. Never compare a MMO's graphics to a standard game's graphics MMO will allway loose because it always puts functionality before looks. If you would have the graphics of Crysis in a mmo nobody could play it, because of constant crashes or constant low fps whenever there ar lots of players in one place, think about the stress that would put on a computer, and a mmo's policy is exaclty reversed get as many ppl playing it as possible.

If you care about graphics that much, go play Perfect World International. Sure its one of the best looking MMOs out there, but is it fun to play?...no it's not.

However the Old Republic for starters has certain gameplay aspects that are fresh to the MMO world, and from what I see has great potential for being fun. Sure its graphics aren't exactly the best, but who gives a shit? I came to play the game for its gameplay content, not it's visual appearance.

Al i know is that for MMOs the graphics are not the main feature. MMOs are designed to NOT have incredible graphics just for the fact that they are played online, which means server, network and client lag can cause serious issues with graphics' frame rates and screw up your whole gaming expierence.
