I received n viewed a bogus news story that stated Chris had collapsed after a performance. He was DOA to the ER. The person either edited the anchors' comments from prior statements or had access to a functional set. I'd lost my Mom 3 weeks prior and this just blew me away. Chris de Burg had a peppy stage performance and could carry a tune with convoluted lyrics, a great voice that could carry. Imagine, folks, a song where you understand the lyrics sung + repetition only in the main chorus + it does not sound like jump-rope music ! Several I was able to disprove but 1 seemed legit ... I was heartbroken, n when I was playing back concerts I loved best this provoked the response u commented about. I still can't imagine how someone could imagine creating false obituaries could b humorous! Thank the One this report was indeed untrue n I

Just in case some of Chris' recent fans r unaware, he has passed on to met the Ferryman in person. Such a loss of a unique soul who also, as a piece of trivia, was related 2 England's royal family. Chris may have left this world but his music lives on 4 all who r willing to listen.
