  • your the best sho, i am in 3rd world now and can say I miss watching your vids. Got some denge fever or food poisoning and am sure it feels similar to your wreck , maybe when I am not 104degrees F I will make my 1st one- but 1st I will start going to church, take care of LL.

  • I can't wait to see the Beast when it makes a come back!! I know you're gonna do it big! Thanks for the update vid!

  • 1 Dislike??? Obviously someone is jealous

  • @ricecakeFTW

Maybe...but I like to think that when someone clicks a video they have a certain expectation of what they want to see. Sometimes it's not what they expect, so they hit dislike. I can tell you the only time I hit dislike is when someone post something hateful or blatantly misleading. I can count on one hand how many i'v done in the last 3 years. Then again, some people are just unhappy.

take care and thanks for commenting =)

  • If you need a right clip on still I have one from my 07. It should interchange

  • @MrGnar1

    Hey man...really appreciate that =)

I've already replaced it...but good to know you have a spare. I've got a good left one if anybody needs it. Also a few odds and ends that are still ok.

Thanks again...hope to see out at Ortega in a few weeks. Speed safe.

  • Frame sliders are awesome! The damage could have been so much worse if there were no frame sliders!

  • @dreaminspired

Very true. If I hadn't had that left slider on the bike would have been done. Didn't help the cosmetics due to the rolls....but that can be easily replaced a little at a time as finances allow :)

  • Hope to see you on the bike again soon. I wrecked a few bikes myself, if you"ve crashed before you you know what it's like, if you haven't, get on a bike asap, I didn't and I didn't ride for 4 years.

  • @zepoxi

Sorry to hear about your offs :(

This one was my second big off. I would have gone back out on that last session if the bike where ridable...but sadly it was too badly torn up. No worries....we'll be back soon.

    Thanks and take care =)

  • Ouch!!!

Nice to see u come out good. Specially compared to how messed up the bike got.

How much do u think its gonna run to rebuild it?

  • @BrYc3who

Thanks. I got really lucky nothing broke.

Don't know how much to rebuild. But when I'm done I'll be sure to tally it all up just for laughs =)

  • Yeowchieee :( Hope ye beast looking smick in no time! Streeeet fighterrrr eeet! :D

  • @chunkatty

    "Hello Kitty".....sorry, couldn't help myself :)

  • Heartbreaking dude for sure and sad to see your bike so messed up :(

Just a question that came to mind.....wondering if race rails are track legal??

I've never seen anyone in a track video use them and now wondering why??

Obviously your going low and dragging knee on the track but race rails have a low profile that would extend no further than a frame slider....interesting??

Anyway wish you luck with the repairs and keep your spirits up Sho :)

  • @DarkFlightVlogs

I wouldn't think they would be banned for track riding. But due to the clearance issues on some I wouldn't recommend it. Just depends on how far out they extend. Probably be better to swap out for some lower profile sliders, frame, case covers, etc.

Thanks brotha.....takes more than that to get me down. Not my first major off....I do hope it's the last ;)

  • glad to see both you and the bike made it out alright, it's no fun having broken bones and broken bikes.

  • @epi42O

Thanks...I know what you mean. Last big crash before this I broke my wrist....having to deal with several casts was horrible.

  • at least it's the "off" season right? glad you're alright!

  • @1drammin

That's true...but I live in Cali. We really don't have an off season. Just a few weeks here and there of bad weather. Curse and a blessing rite now ;)

  • So did you get an estimate on the total damage done. Really sucks to see that. You should do like many others and call the bike an R1 streetfighter now. lol

  • @WildBill1006

No estimate......Insurance would have totaled it. Can't bear the thought of losing my R1. I will fix it on my own....will cost tons more than the deductable for insurance, but I get to keep my bike :)

  • Soo much for frame sliders lol

  • @l00920

Actually the left frame slider kept the engine safe. If it wasn't there the engine would have ground down on that side and shot oil everywhere. In this case the slider saved my bike. Replacement cost for that slider is around 35.00 US. Don't even want to know what an engine would cost.

  • as long as the frame is still straight there isn't a lot of big work to do.

    more cosmetic.

but still very unpleasant to see a beautiful bike in this conditions :(

  • @benblij

That's true....no real major damage. Almost all cosmetic. I can fix all of it with a little time.

  • your R1 got some pretty nice battle scars. she s gonna be mean when she comes back.

  • @28zoomy

Like the guy at the track said about my leathers...now they have character. Well my bike has tons of "Character" now, LOL!!!

  • So whats the plans? Rebuild? New Bike? Again glad your not hurt bro!

  • @supersayin1

Thank you sir. Fo Sho!!!.....we gonna make it better than ever. Just need a little time.

  • Well it looks like you riped the shit out of pars of the bike but at least you didnt get hurt.

  • @CrocketBernet

Yes sir...that's the main thing. Bikes can be repaired or replaced. Not that I want to make crashing a habit....but there's always that possiblity. The rider is always #1.

  • :'(

  • @pedroaguiaromundo

No worries my friend.....I was able to walk away and will continue to ride =)

  • Im still gutted this happened to you :( most aggressive rider I've seen on this to handle a bike of that size but also your vids are consistently amazing :) Hope you and the bike get well soon :D

  • @franufc8

    Thank you very much :)

  • when you fix the bike you will know a lot more about the bike then you did before, so not everything is bad about crashing. Keep us updated on the fix, and if you can make some videos of how you fix things.

  • @ruskiyify91

yes sir....learned a lot and will definetly keep you posted as the bike develops.

  • Time to make a R1 street fighter :) woot woot

  • @braceyoself777

After riding it without plastics....i have a new appreciation for street fighters ;)

  • glad you have the point of view you have. Shoguns Ride the bike hard, you have an R1 for a reason and every vid you have proves you can handle it, at least to me and master ninja 250. Also to the comments about 2 grnd bikes on the track, listen up you have seen the shogun's garage, his after mrket sprokets cost 2g's, the sho is not the slow; nor is he on food stamps. And if the show ever goes on stamps you beter believe he'd go big or go home. He'd have like 10 kids one per cc of the new r1

  • @spartanturtle333

Thank you sir...your very kind. I do ok...but definetly not well off. Just like to spend my money as I get it ;)

I like the 10 kids idea.....(Yells ou loud) "Lady L" need you for a bit =)

  • Dude when I saw the headlights it reminded me of a dead transformer. Are you gonna turn her into a streetfighter.

  • @BlackholeInfinite

Hahaha....I thought the same thing, but not dead....just pretty beaten ;)

No sir.....gonna track it out at first and then slowly put it back to stock so I can ride street and track. Just kinda expensive to go back stock so gotta do it a little at a time.

  • Sorry to see the bike all wrecked ! I hope you get it back together !

  • @MuzzleMike

No worries bro. It's just a bike. It got hurt doing what it was meant to do. Would be a shame to not ride these types of bikes like they where meant to be riden. With that in mind, these things happen. It will be back to ride again =)

  • @Shogun09R1 exactly it is just a bike....the best thing is that you are ok and you can go back to the track again....anyway i know that strange feeling when you push the brakes and in moment you are fly over the bike....happens to me last year....all the best my friend...I hope you're everything put together

  • and that is the reason I and my bro cant track our nice bikes..has to be something worth 2 grand at the most to track.

  • @initialmoe

I appreciate your point of view. But, any bike that is riden "Nice" or not on the street, canyon or track has the potential for getting trashed. If you have a nice bike and you only ride on the street and think nothing can happen to it your are mistaken. Crap happens, your fault, someone else fault, debris, oil slick, etc. If you ride, you are at risk...period. And that is the reason I ride my bike anywhere.

Speed safe on and off the track =)

  • @Shogun09R1 Your 100 % right bro, to be honest my brother wrote this comment and didnt know he was still signed into my profile. what I actually would have said is that Im glad your ok, crashing is a part of learning it can happen to Anyone and will happen to anyone who rides hard. I hope you can get your bike running soon and take care. ride safe fellow rider!

  • Not too bad? Ugh, trajic, nice garage though!

  • @dlinquencious

    Thanks and thanks =)

  • the front looks like a transformers head that got ripped off lol

  • @TheXtremistOFY

    yeah it does =)
