But there aren't any statistics to show if legal gun purchasers end up selling guns in illegal sales to criminals. Pretty amazing that they didn't try to prosecute the woman for SOMETHING. I would've expected them to try to charge her with unlawful discharge of a firearm or something along those lines for those first two warning shots. Given, who knows where those stray shots could've wound up - maybe going into a neighbor's home (or a neighbor!). Still, it's good to see they didn't try to treat the homeowner like a criminal and the intruder as a victim, as they so often do.
Clearly, the police could not respond fast enough to protect her, so she had to exercise her second amendment right. Anyone that gets shot at and immediately returns is clearly up to NO GOOD.
