Come on guys, Istarted to shiny hunt seriously only recently and got three shinies with the pokeradar within four days of each other and got one other put of luck. I got two in one day! Make sure you guys are chaining in the right spots try the area above the resort and below themansion. Check out my upcoming videos on my shinies

Actually, it doesn;t matter where you chain. There are no "right spots" you just have to be in the route where the pokemon you want appears.

after that I got an AR and had about 200 shinies lol but now i realize that AR takes all the fun out the game so i sold it and got platinum version now Ive been trying to chain a shiny swellow for weeks and still have not gotten a single shiny!

how are you able to find that much of the same pokemon species with NO interruptions. the highest i've got to finding the same species was 10 or something like that

Uhm, it's called the Pokeradar. I think you get it from Oak after you beat the Elite Four, although I don't know if that's accurate.

The Pokeradar allows you to chain pokemon, which means exactly what you asked: encountering the same Pokemon over and over, to around 40. Once you encounter it 40 times (or around that) you began resetting your radar until you find a Shiny Patch. ;)

I have a shiny mareep that I found today when I was at chain 16. is that good, cuz all these vids have chains of 40 and then look for shinies, does that mean that 16 is lucky?? Someone please reply

No it doesn't mean 16 is lucky

you just got extremely lucky

they can appear randomly at any number.
