Anyone saying Blitz instead of Urgot probably doesn't realise he's not a ranged AD and also that Shaco needs setup time. Urgot works perfectly and his ultimate has less failure chance than Blitzcrank's arm.

I actually played Blitz + Shaco quite a number of times (in normal games), and it worked well. The only problem was our weak lategame - Blitz, while still useful, isn't very strong and neither is Shaco (especially AP Shaco, which we played).

srsly, think about it, shaco has got some really nice support-skills in hist kit. Wards that fear enemies coming near them, a slow plus an in-built red buff, a scout and, if you get oracles, the ability to zone out the enemy bot-lane really well. He isn't optimal, perhaps, but I don't think you should turn down everything that isn't "meta". Look at what Dignitas(RS at that time) did with sup GP. Be open minded ^^

@swushi999 The problem is that current state of the game prefers healers as support early and strong CC later on, so GP or Janna can still cut it with their insane utility. Shaco lacks that, basicly as support he drops even more behind then AP does. And that is pretty bad ;)

well a pink ward is not there since lvl 1, and a shaco can also buy a pink ward np... its also not for free, you could have had a green ward in the river and 50 gold extra, now you have to ward the brush and defend the ward, cause once shaco kills it, you have to go buy a new one. even with the pink ward there, shaco is not that useless, his deceive might not turn him invisible anymore, but it is still a blink... he works like a reverse heal - constant harass ftw, he outdamages the healers np.
