  • WOW, John in the BSSM era, but actually caring about his performance (before his meltdown.)

  • This is one of the best songs it's depressing that this song isn't played live any more by them

  • I was at this show but missed pearl jam. Remember when Billy Corgan called us, "a bunch of fucking maggots!"? That was rad! I also remeber standing behind a guy with red and white beads on his braids.

  • I was at this show.. Pearl Jam opener who nobody ever heard of, then Smashing Pumpkins then Chilis.. This was one of the finest moments ever.. thanks for uploading this

  • I'd never seer Flea with that bass before!

  • you are amazing sir. u saw these guys in 91 in toronto!

  • @added23 After seeing them in 1989 and listening to Mother`s Milk a million times, had to go see them both nights at one of my favorite small venues in Toronto. Two unknown bands at the time opened up for them - Pearl Jam and Smashing Pumpkins!

  • @oldTOtaper haha wow. how old are you and how did u hear about them? werent the peppers pretty unknown in canada during mothers milk? i live in toronto too wish i couldve seen these guys during this era but i was born like a month after this performance.

  • @added23 Im 45 now but was 20 when they first caught my ear in 1986. In 1989, the Peps were still very underground but had a loyal fan base. They didnt break out until 1992 when they headlined Lollapalooza. There still have a lot of integrity today, but lacking the testosterone.

  • @oldTOtaper haha i totally agree with you man. still create the music they feel inside but their adrenaline has definitely diminished. sorry for asking all these questions but im just curious how you heard about them, like radio, tv or whatever. cuz in 86 they pretty much just came out, so i would think it would be difficult to hear their music unless u lived in la.

  • @added23 Well, Much Music would play Jungle Man once and a while, read a lot of music magazines, had friends who worked in record stores, etc. I was just a music junky, always looking for new, exciting, original stuff.

  • @oldTOtaper oh nice. sounds like fun times

  • Una verdadera JOYA
