@maheenkadri It is by a company called Plank but honestly, my hands slip terribly when I practice yoga on it. I would not spend the $70 it costs - I got it at an event I attended and did not have to pay.
excellent workout. I did track&field in high school, but once i reached college I was amazed with how fast i gained weight, going from 145lbs at 5'8'' to 160lbs with love handles (too much alcohol and unlimited buffet). The plank was so much easier than crunches, yet felt like twice the gain on my abs. Combined with constant jogging I am now back to 155lbs, which i consider normal.
Thank you so much! I am twelve and way well over 120 pounds! And I start skool in a week! I wanna give everyone a suprise! Thank u! Its working wonders!
Hi Sarah (: In the video you addressed the workout as ab exercises. But all I really want to do is get rid of my love handles and have a flat tummy. I don't really want to get abs so could you help me out with that? Thanks in advance. And I'm 14 years old and my weight is 45.2 kg in case you're wondering (:
and being a trainer one day. Words cannot express my appreciation, seeing these videos and making drastic realizations. I think I am now cured, honestly! No longer will I strive to lose weight...fitness shows strength, confidence, and beauty. :)
Sarah, I wanted to thank you for your videos. I've struggled with an eating disorder since I was around twelve years old, a tender age to be teased for any reason...especially weight. I've severely restricted calories, and have constantly lost weight and gained it back. I have found the inspiration to be strong and fit...just like you are. Being ridiculously underweight is not attractive, but a healthy, fit body is beautiful. I am sixteen, looking forward to getting in shape,
Hej sarah, this stuff really helps me! I was just wondering, I'm actually quite slim, but I've got a little roll of fat below my breasts, and it really shows when I sit. How can I get rid of these, on top of cardio? I guess regular crunches or planks don't really work int that area...
I am new to this and dont see how that helps the stomach? Because it seems to me the main strain is on the arms and legs? Could you please explain? thankyou and it looks like a great simple way of getting toned so i will defo try it! x
@Meringue54 This is a perfect reason why Trainers need trainers themselves. I do know that your chin should be tucked, but when I'm filming myself w/o a mirror and talking to the camera, sometimes form is compromised. I like to talk to the camera than down at the ground. I tell my clients to pretend holding an apple underneath the chin when the do any ab work for the most part.
@SarahsFabChannel yeah, no worries. im guessing its pretty hard to get all of it happening at once. i have been working out a place with TRX (well, a version of it called Red Cord), it took quite a while to get good form on a side plank. and then form with a trx as well is just pretty crazy.... i guess i was worried because your hips just looked too high up in the side plank.... but as i said, i like your videos, been following you for a while, and if im ever in boston, hope to visit ur gym!!!

usually I like your videos and you have some really great videos, but this one is not so great. your form needs a lot of work. doing planks and side planks without proper form can be really bad for a body (well, anything without proper form can be bad), but I think you need some more training for these exercises.
if anyone is finding it difficult to do looking down, tuck your chin in to your chest when you are in plank position. it helps apply strength to the move.
I absolutely love you! I wish you would create a workout DVD or write a cook book! You are such an inspiration! I look forward to checking your blog each day!!! Each time you post a new video I feel like it’s a present just for me. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us!
This was a good, I was wondering what will help get rid of the fat on the upper abs that's right under the chest cuz I find most workouts r for lower abs
I would love to see some sort of meal plan from you, like what you eat in about a week or just a couple of days! would be really helpful and inspiring! <3
Thanks Sarah! I love your videos! I think you should make a ftness DVD that has sections that targets all the different areas because you seem to know it all ! I would totally buy your DVDs. :)
@melaniedogs search up for blogilates or pop pilates on youtube for great ab workouts that will get you a toned stomach. i hear sarah and cassey (from pop pilates) might have a collaboration together soon.
I really like your yoga mat! Where on Earth can I find something like that?? Great workout, I will try this and give you feedback! :-)

@marillica Sure Pilates uses planks but I wouldn't say they are Pilates. Yoga classes use these too.

Stomach crunches and sit ups take a tole on my lower back, planks are far more forgiving. Cool tips!

@MikamiPro Agreed! So many people do not do them correctly either, putting too much strain on their necks.
