detoxing off the oxy is worse than having the damn flue 100 times over. and you imagine one pill will stop the sickness part of withdrawels. it makes youre mind wonder and you think of doing things that you could only imagine doing in life. like stealing or holding up a pharmacy. my doctor had me on 80mg four times a day. and then 6 10mg percocets for break through pain. it was given for bone cancer. and he quit and i had to detox plus deal with them pain at the same time. it took over two weeks

They've gotten better at helping addicts detox before they put 'em in the pen. But it depends on region and helping addicts is far from being the standard.
