Chants are so mesmurizing...I could sit and almost meditate to this. If I were able to meditate with background noises. If I were able to meditate at all haha xD But this almost pulls me into a trance, just the repetition, repetition...So soothing... :)

She is also the Goddess of witches, magic, and dogs. :) Hecate is my matron Goddess, Bless Her, and she wishes me to call her Heck-a-tee. There are many pronunciations for her name, including the one in this song.

They are repeating the names of seven Goddesses.

Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hecate, Demeter, Kali, Innana...

Isis-Egyptian Goddess of fertility, magic etc.

Astarte-Fenician Goddess of love and fertility.

Diana-Roman Goddess of the woods and moon.

Hecate-Greek Goddess, patron of Witches.

Demeter-Greek Goddess of agriculture, fertility, birth, marriage etc.

Kali-Hindu Goddess associated with death and destruction.

Inanna-Sumerian Goddess of love and war.

Hecate is not really an olympian goddess, she is a part of the titan gods/goddess but she is not really a titan, mostly like a minor titan goddess, another example is the goddess Leto, the goddess of the unseen, she is known as the daughter of titans, used to be more worshipped in east greece. Leto is the known as the mother of Apollo and Artemis, she is also an enemy of Hera, because she mated Zeus.

@WiccanBast The problem is that they are mixing up historical cultures. European Real Wicca never came near invoking Kali and Celts had their own gods and goddesses. This has happened since so many Americans have gotten into Wicca. Americans have no cultural center, so they try to blend everything. They are like the McDonalds of Paganism. Ridiculous to me.
