  • nice car...sounds good...has some power..I too have a bigblock Olds torque machine, lot`s of fun cruz`in with all the "me too" cars..comaro,mustang,chevelle etc, they`re everywhere, but not many Cutlass`s,especially mine,Rallye 350,but I like all Cutlass`s,if I could have it my way I would own each year...

  • Ok, my mistake I guess. I always thought around .090 was the max oversize bore for most engines. Maybe not for an Olds.

  • You can´t bore out a 455 to a 510 simple because there would almost be no cylinderwalls left. This is a common misunderstanding people all over make. Depending on the oversize bigger pistons will only gain a few cubes. If it is really 510 cubes it´s because it has a stroker crank and/or different rods.

  • @Ynzevdz if you read all the comments you would have seen this response.... The block started out as a 455, but it was bored 125 over and the crank was offset ground fitted with 455 Pontiac rods. Thank you

  • What a beast! I didn't know Olds made a 510cid engine...unless of course it's bored out.

How long have you had this awesome ride for?

  • @hardtackjack Thank you! Bought it in 1996. The block started out as a 455, but it was bored 125 over and the crank was offset ground fitted with 455 Pontiac rods.

  • @hurstoldz Beautiful! Glad to see that you've held onto it for this long... I just purchased a '72 Cutlass Supreme in April of '09, and I love it.

Well looks to me like you did good work on it, as it's one of the sexiest H/Os I've ever seen.

  • DROOL! Very nice Olds. Nice stance. I would love to hear some more audio of that engine running.

  • @theonionman Thanks! I will post more once it cools down here!!!!
