Good job...nice well thought out planning and easy to change the order of stompboxes if needed. Good woodworking skills too. Produced a really professional looking board. Thanks for posting.
@slayerbbk In german it is called aluminium profile...maybe it is the same in english. Just put it in google and search the internet. I hope you get what you want.
@slayerbbk They looks like some aluminum angle iron strips...can get them at Lowe's or Home Depot. It gave a nice touch to the black case and will keep the corners and edges from getting bunged up and splintered.
Very nice! Looks excellent. Just a quick question though: how heavy is the board before applying all the pedals to it? Looking into re-doing my setup and this looks like a nice, possible route. Good job again!
@gitaarrfactor2 Sorry for my late reply. It would be a lot of work to take off all of the pedal so I weight the hole thing. I have ten pedals mounted for the moment and the board is not as heavy as I though...just about 10kg.
Feel free to ask me if you want to know something more. peace
@smittileo It´s okay, if you will like it like I did when I put my pedals on it...everythings alright. If you need something to now, you can send me another message and I will try to help. peace
@gitarguy4u Sorry, I had been very busy in the last time. The slots on top really helped to reduce the weight, but that was not my intension, it was just to make it easier to do the cabling. The slots in the back really did nothing to reduce to weight.
Hey I made one too! not as great haha (check it out on my chan if you want) But I'd like to know where you got your handels for the sides. Thanks, keep rockn!
@AustinGraggmusician I bought the handels in an home-improvement store (or hardware store...i don´t know what you call it), just simple handels for furniture.
@Caybar21 thank you. It worked out pretty well. The dimension are: 40cm x 79cm on the top - the high on the front is 2,5cm and on the back 10cm. I hope it helps. peace
@OFCfaithtower Let me think about it...mmhhh, no ; )

@mygodyhwh No, I don´t think so. I need some time off to built one like this. It´s not on schedule for me at the time.

Did you use anything other than Spray paint & Satin? I'm starting my own project from scratch with wooden pallets.
slayerbbk 2 months ago
@slayerbbk No, that was all that I used, but I did my best to get the surface really smooth before.

@straightbetween ahh not bad at all, still a great result.
Any idea what the metal strips are called you used for the border?

Awesome board......What did you use on the edges? Also, what did you use to cut the slots, a jigsaw?
Thanks!
Knuckle95 4 months ago
@Knuckle95 I used simple aluminium edges from the hardware store and did the cuts for the slots with a circular saw with depth.

Hey man, looks great. How did you cut out the slots for the cabling etc? Did that help to reduce the overall weight of the board
