  • hmmm, good question. I make great mistake when i designed axis mounts at main body. It was carbon tubes and when i put som drop of motor oil into they accuracy goes to 2-4 minutes at full weight go-down (~5 hours)

  • how is the clocks timing accuracy?

  • Hi there ! Thanks for good words ! This clocks was pilot serious model for this CNC and was created from plywood not good quality ! What is sleeve another words?, I'm not technik and some words not understand. Escapement was created from solid brick of birch - there are three parts: main lever and two "teeth", you can move it at main part to take good ticking, after this glue it via cyanoacrylate. Any questions - slides@narod.ru

  • Hi there, great work by the way, your clock looks excellent!

I'm just about to make this clock, what did you use to make the sleeves?

  • @kool1963 I have uploaded to youtube several vids for creating TRUE INVOLUTE internal and external gears with backlash and even sprockets using Autocad. The vid of the GEAR Word Document has the formulas and the gear terms to help with your gear and sprocket designs.

  • This is Brian Law's design. He provides the plans for free on his website.

  • Cheater!!! I cut my gears by hand. MY hands!!! I am a clock maker, you are a kit assemblier.
