Nobody could have played WCH like John Inman did and be as hilarious. He helped that character take on a life of its own. Rest in peace John, and thanks for all the laughs.
The great thing is none of these things were originally written for the character such as the walk etc, they were created by John Inman. He became the star of the show, much to everyone's surprise. The public loved it, and the writers responded to what the public liked. Great stuff.
My Aunt Beatrice got me addicted to this show,I would rush home from where ever I was at or stop whatever I was doing when this show came on.I watched it like it was a religion. Wish it was still on tv.
named my yorkie after him. In training, we would say "Wilber, you're free" as his release command. The world shall miss John.

This might be the 3rd most well written sitcom (after ALL IN THE FAMILY and TRAILER PARK BOYS) in television history.
