I was wondering, it is mandatory to have the bird flute to kill the "Ganon", as he takes you out of the dungeon

@hyugabyakugam Unless you use glitches, yes, because the flute and bird are required to get to Lv6: Misery Mire. But it will still take you to the pyramid after beating Agahnim even if you avoid collecting the flute since it's just a scripted scene.

@gamemonkey44 You can also use a bomb to blow yourself across, but there's not much point when the dash bounce works.

ALTTP was really a shock for me, since I only played TP, PH and ST before (soooo easy compared to this xD) so this dungeon was by far the hardest one I've seen in a LoZ game.

Overall, though, I think I died about a dozen times when I first played LttP, including fairy uses.

Quake is mostly useless except for opening Turtle Rock.

I use Bombos the most. Ether is good if you're low on magic, though, since you can crush frozen enemies with the hammer to get a higher chance of them dropping magic jars.

If you use the Ether magic some enemies freeze and then if you smash those frozen enemies with the hammer you get magic bottles so you get te magic back instantly.

I use that trick too. I used it a lot especially in the ice dungeon and in some of the rooms in this castle

I only use it here. In ice dungeon the hookshot does much more for me. The icy floor makes it harder to steer your character so I don't bother with the extra walk to get the magic back, so hookshot there. The gibdos are the ones that actually only need that trick done to them, everything else goes fast with the sword or other items.

Go to the bomb shop south of the Pyramid, where Link's house is in the Light World, and buy it for 100 rupees. It becomes available once you've beaten Level 6: Misery Mire.

You can upgrade the number of bombs and arrows you're able to carry by throwing rupees into the Pond of Happiness on the island in the middle of Lake Hylia.
